its a small restaurant you can get new experience of sri Lankan street foods and beverages
We had few times dinner in the Big Belly restaurant and it was the most delicious food we ate during the whole trip through Sri Lanka. Weâve tried different dishes every day and it was really good. All the spices they use and the sauces were just outstanding. All the waiters were quick and smiling and very professional.Kavindu is a great waiter but weâll miss you all guys!

Really home made foods. Vegetarian currys, fish currys, chicken currys, prawn currys, cuttle fish currys, milk currys, hot spycy currys, medium spycy currys, No spycy currys (pure coconut milk and true spices with preparing). Noodles, fried rice, kottu, S
Such a great family run restaurant, really small but offers incredible home cooked local cuisine at great prices. The family are all really friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic. So much better than going to a big chain restaurant or tourist spot. You can tell the dishes are all freshly prepared using local ingredients. Will definitely go again when in Weligama and recommend all who visit the area to go for a meal at Meewitha.

Authentic Sri Lankan food under a Eco friendly environment. Notice: we will be shift to a new location to the Beach side Road,Mathara Road, Mirissa.
We went there for dinner and it was truly disappointing after all the other curries weâve had around Sri Lanka. The food didnât had much flavor. When we arrived there was almost no food left so we had to wait more than 30 min for them to bring more food. No beer is also a down point.

Ayubowan!!! Plantation Surf Inn is a Guest House with accommodation and a delicious Restaurant and Cafe in Midigama. It's location is away from the noise of the road and set in a tranquil and beautifully maintained tropical garden. Only a minutes walk fro
Wow what a wonderful welcome and excellent food served in their pretty garden .We went early and the owner made time to sit and talk to us about his business and the terrible tsunami they survived on 2004.This is a great place ...donât miss it ...great food and great price .

Chilled beach side Cafe serving eclectic cuisine featuring the best of home grown produce and refreshing beverage concoctions. Bring a towel and laze in the pool while enjoying vistas of the terquoise blue ocean. Escape. Unwind. Savour.
Waiters arenât helpful or accommodating at all - borderline rude even. Food was average at best despite being relatively more expensive than others. There are far better restaurants in Mirissa for a good meal. The only thing going for this place is the view - beachside with a pool. Would highly recommend finding another spot along Mirissa Beach as there are plenty of great restaurants with good vibes. We firstly would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused as per the comments which you have mentioned above. We are very keen in maintaining our high standards and trust kept in our food and service. In order to further evaluate the matter we have personally messaged you.Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

Zephyr Talalla is a Villa and Sri Lankan fusion Restaurant & Bar, located right on the beach in Talalla Bay.
We were blown away on arriving here by the warm welcome from the staff and the impressive setting. It's lovely to be right on the beach and with so few rooms you can really indulge in what it does best here. We found a lovely couple of sunbeds under the trees which felt like a real escape. The place is stunning and feels really special - particularly thanks to all the staff. They also were fantastically accommodating for my mum's gluten intolerance. In fact they were enormously helpful with any ask and arranged a driver to get us to the airport. We made the mistake of eating elsewhere a couple of times - but this is the best food on the beach by a very long way. I'd stick here for the food! The cocktails are equally delicious (try the Mai Tai!). We were very sad to leave and I miss waking up to the sound of the waves breaking. This is a really quiet end of the beach - perfect for watching both sunrise and sunset too! Thank you Zephyr team for sharing your paradise with us :)

As we arrived in Mirissa we missed the Sri Lanka kitchen at the Restaurants at the beach and on the roads. We found here the Cosmic Power Woody. The Impression we got through the descriptions and and the pictures shows us that this is what we are searching for. After a nice ride with the bikes on the little road we arrived at this place. It was directly a amazing athmosphere and flair as we arrived. Dasun, a very relaxed guy and his family had a look for everything.Off course it is not a la card. But Dasun asked in advance how we like the incredients and the spicy. It took a little bit time from the arriving until the Curryâs are served, but as we saw the variety, the quantity and the quality of the food it was clear why (we were told before that it will need one hour).During the time Dasun served some appetizers as Rotty, fresh coconuts and had a look that everything is fine with us.In addition we needed this time we spent there to enjoy this place and relax in the tree house. You can also have Haircuts, Massages and other lessons there during the time.So all in all it was a great afternoon at this friendly family and we can really recommend this experience!!Dasun, we will see us definitely again when we come back to Sri Lanka. Thanks for all!(By the way, there is a really nice and clean bathroom)

There are plenty of seafood restaurants in Mirissa, but at Freshwave, weâve added a little extra to the experience. The restaurant has been designed for happy chaos and lively banter, similar to the hubbub of a seafood market. Frshwaveâs day begins in the
Amazing restaurant right on the beach. My partner and I tried almost everything on the menu and were never disappointed. I particularly loved the mango lassi and the curry was one of the best I've ever had! The staff were super friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable local knowledge. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The happy hour from 1-10pm was a nice touch too

Mahi Mahi is the best seafood restaurant in Dikwella, Sri Lanka. It's the ideal place to experience fresh seafood for an affordable price. The restaurant is situated on a picturesque and clean sandy beach ideal for chilling, sunbathing and a dip in a sea.
Incredibly bad and slow service! We arrived and were greeted by no one. There was a group of five and us three and it took for ages for us to get the menu. After that it took for nearly an hour for us to get our meals! Waiter didnât seem to understand me who spoke English, so the Sinhalese people in my group had to translate for him. When we asked to order cocktails, the waiter said itâs not possible because he cannot make them - WHAT?! Food was basic and not great in any way. Sweet and sour chicken was just overly fried chicken with tons of pepper - not even any sauce. The location on the beach is wonderful and the restaurant is nice looking and they have great swings on the beach. Wouldnât recommend this place for anyone. Can get better food for the same price (or cheaper) elsewhere.
