Top 10 Sports Complexes in Austrian Alps, Austrian Alps

December 26, 2021 Janean Rudisill

The majestic Austrian Alps stretch across the country, an awe-striking area of Ice Age valleys, verdant heaths and alluvial cones within Europe's largest national park, 700-square-mile Hohe Tauern. Taking in the dramatic cities of Salzburg and Innsbruck and the beautiful province of Tirol, home to spectacular skiing and hiking, as well as Gross Glockner, Austria's highest peak, and some of the world's best winter and summer sports playgrounds, the Austrian Alps are an outdoor lover's paradise.

Me and the family have been several times already in this indoor swimming pool and fun place. There is also a wellness area, which is apparently very good, but i have never been there so will not comment on it. The Swimmingpools and the area around with the two partially in partially outdoor slides is great. Kids always have fun and you could easily spend the 4h, which are offered with a ticket. I think normally is enough and good value for the money. There is of course a daily ticket as well, but we never used. There is also a underground garage there and you get discount with the entry ticket- very convenient and i would recommend. Be careful with the slides, especially with the wild one - i am aware of few cases when even adults got injured. Respect the signs with the age restriction and don’t let small kids alone, you can have fun together for sure as well. The price of the tickets is not low, but i think fair also having in mind that Seefeld is a very touristic place. I warmly recommend the outdoor pool, especially on a sunny day in early spring- the view with the mountains and snow and all the rest around is just amazing. Last but not least- it is almost in the middle of the village and one can combine the activity with having a walk or dinner afterwards in the cosy village, especially in the Christmas time. We really like the place and would definitely come again.

Really enjoyed out trip to this facility. We had free access with our St Johann card (provided by our hotel). It’s a really clean and modern and recreation facility. In summertime there are lots of outside pools, tennis etc. We were there in January in the snow. The inside pool is large with an adjacent children’s pool and 2 x enclosed water slides that are great fun. There is an outside hot pool as well which is really nice in the snow!
