Our second time to this animal park was a great experience for us and our two grandchildren. The animals roam free, you drive through at your own pace, to view and feed the animals from the car windows. We learned from the first trip not to go on a rainy day! We also learned to come prepared.....I brought a bucket to dump the food pellets into so the children would have a limited amount of feed in their containers. The animals can be aggressive and quickly take the food containers away. Our 7yr old granddaughter lost her minimally filled container to a hungry ostrich in the first 5 minutes. Fortunately, I also learned to take along extra Cool Whip containers so all was not lost! Be quick to close the car windows when the animals get to forceful. The children had a great time. In addition to the ostrich we fed zebras, deer, and emus. Bison, giraffes, kangaroos also roam the park as you follow the trail. When our food pellets ran out we had a picnic lunch at one of the many tables, then visited the caged monkeys and the goats in the petting area. Colorful peacocks wonder the park free, often putting on a showy display of their feathers. You can purchase the food pellets at the admission gate. Two buckets was plenty for the 2 children, 2 adults in our car. Clean restrooms, but don’t forget the handiwipes!
