En 1898 a Sable, Joseph Malicot (1874-1953) reprit le commerce familial de peintre-vitrier. Il y rajoute un rayon photo et construisit son atelier en bordure de l'Erve. Aujourd'hui, sauve par l'association "Atelier Malicot", il a ete reamenage avec des decors restaures en s'inspirant de documents d'epoques. Venez decouvrir un atelier de photographe de la fin du XIXe siecle.

Musée d'objets ménagers anciens en tôle émaillée, aménagé dans toutes les pièces d'une vieille demeure du début du 17 ème siècle, par deux collectionneurs passionnés. Visite commentée du musée et de l'architecture du bâtiment : poutres, cloisons à colombages, cheminées en tuffeau, charpente apparente. Un musée original, insolite et unique. The Musée Vert is the natural history museum of the city of Le Mans. It opened its doors to the public in June 1995. This establishment with its scientific vocation, is inspected by the Ministry for Research, and received the Musée de France label in 2002. The Musée Vert preserves nearly 300,000 specimens in its collections, accumulated by generations of collectors and naturalists from the Sarthe since the opening of the first museum of Le Mans in 1799. It consists, in particular, of naturalised birds and mammals, collections of insects, shells and plants, as well as fossils, minerals and rocks.
