Wonderful Staff
Reviewed By jn897212We had a great stay at Amigo. Our bus dropped us at 2 am in Kalaw, unexpectedly two hours before we were supposed to arrive. We woke the poor staff up who were very accommodating, managing to get our party of five into a beautiful room with very comfortable beds. In the morning there was coffee and breakfast. Thank you Amigo Hotel!

We are located in a quiet enviroment of Nyaung Shwe and also with reach of the town centre, the jetty, Redhill vineyard and Mai Thouk bridge in a few minutes by car or cycling. We propose five bungalow style buildings built in modern architecture with mock wooden walls. The lobby and restaurant offer a friendly and cozy area which you can relax and enjoy your meals, drinks and the sunset.

Reviewed By turroortegaThe cleanliness was impeccable. The hotel is located in a very quiet place and the rooms are surrounded by a beautiful and pleasant garden. The service was friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was also good, with a choice of Burmese or American breakfast.

Reviewed By Tommy MA new hotel in the middle of a bustling market,near walking distance of the border.The rooms were very cheap,clean,aircon and fridge worked perfect. Free WiFi,free parking. Make sure you buy some food and drinks before all the shops close,the hotels has nothing to offer but 2 free water bottles and some chips and instant noodles but hey,what do you want for 700 baht a night.

Reviewed By Z9422SJclairevNous avons passé un agréable séjour à Pekon ! Nous devions y rester qu'une nuit finalement nous sommes restés 3 nuits. L'hôtel est très bien avec un prix raisonnable. Le service est parfait, la chambre est propre, grande avec une grande salle de bain (baignoire) et un balcon. De plus les gérants sont vraiment adorables et feront tout pour vous rendre service. Il y a la possibilité de louer un scooter pour pas cher. Le ménage est fait tous les jours, ils changent même les draps et les serviettes. Merci beaucoup à eux ! Allez y !!

It's a very beautiful resort I had the superior room with private terrace Staff is to the level and give special attention to their guests Theres enough choice for bfast No need to go elsewhere for dinner.

Reviewed By Patrick hIt's a very cheap hotel so you can't expect much. It's clean and the beds are nice. The 5 stars are for the owners though! These are the people you've heard about that are exited to see tourists coming into Myanmar. He wanted to learn some English from me and was genuinely curious about me. He bought a plane ticket for me wich he got himself at the shop. He went to several laundry places because I only had two days to do my laundry. He lend me a bicycle and offered to take me on a private tour on a motorbike out of town to see the tribes. This place is awesome! If you go to tacheleik go to this place! It's only a couple minutes walk after the border crossing.
