Reviewed By ssolom667361Had quite a pleasant last minute overnight stay at Amery House. The Host was very welcoming despite arriving there in the evening and the room was in spacious, inviting and neat. Will certain recommend!

From "heights" to rather lows
Reviewed By RitzmaWalmer Heights guesthouse promises more than what it can deliver. Parking for vehicles are free and safe. Centrally located to shops and businesses. Have to walk through main house to get to accommodation. The room was average size no cupboard to hang clothes an old bookshelf served as a cupboard. It was advertised as self catering but only had a small bar fridge next to the bed with a kettle and two cups. The room was not clean, the towels stained and old. The shower was moldy and all in all it had a real "lived" in feeling and shabby. No guest soap or other amenities just a rather yuckky old plastic bottle with liquid soap in the shower. No plugs for the bath.

Reviewed By CHARMSAMAI was booked in Pollok beach Guest lodge for 5 night, unfortunately it was not the best 5 days. Self catering Unit needs an upgrade, bathroom window damaged and not closing properly. Wind coming through all the windows in the unit. Cutlery was not clean, Couch is tired and not comfortable at all. Tv/Netflix/DSTV was not working most of the time. Great service from the manager she tried all she can to assist with the tv that was just a nightmare and everything else that was an issue . After the 3rd day i requested to be moved to another unit and I was moved to Summerstrand Beach guest house that was way much better than Pollok unit. I had issues with the tv that was also not working at Summerstrand lodge.

Reviewed By GerhardOffringaI had a wonderful (second) stay in this, very stylish, classy and guest-friendly B&B. Charlene and Greg are wonderful hosts. Charlene went to a lot of trouble in transporting me around to the venue where I was lecturiing, as well as to and from the airport. Much appreciated!The food is very tasty and very appetizingly presented. All amenities in the rooms are high quality and attest to their good taste. Security is very good and one feels safe all of the time. All-in-all a wonderful and very enjoyable stay! Gerhard

Brewer House is a guest house situated in the beautiful sea-side suburb of Summerstrand in Port Elizabeth. We offer three en-suite rooms, one which is self-catering. Being close to the city center and only a stone's throw away from the beach you can rest assure to experience the best Port Elizabeth has to offer.
Great B&B not to be missed
Reviewed By valandre0976This is a lovely 5*B&B well located in an upscale residential area of Port Elizabeth. A short 800 metre walk will bring you to the beach and its long promenade, a shopping mall and some excellent restaurants incl the Something Good Roadhouse (which we ate at). The B&B is extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated with a designer’s flare. Our very spacious self catering room accommodates a family of 4. Our hosts Hein & Karin were friendly and helpful in making suggestions for our stay, which was unfortunately all too brief. A complete breakfast included yogurt, fresh fruit, home made muffins, eggs and bacon. WIFI connections was fast and excellent. On-site parking was secure. Pool was enticing. This location is excellent if you are planning a visit to ADDO Elephant Reserve and other attractions. Thanks for your kind hospitality.

The Cottage accommodates four people sharing. It has one bedroom with a double bed and en suite bathroom. There are two single beds in the living area. The Cottage is fully equipped for self catering. The Pool Room is a lovely large, sunny room with a queen and single bed in it - accommodating a family of 3. There is a shower etc en suite. The kitchenette is neatly tucked away in a cupboard
