Just steps away from Lille’s two major train stations and the Euralille business district, Mama Shelter Lille is centrally located, which allows travelers to easily explore the city. Each of Mama Lille's 112 rooms has been carefully designed by Jalil Amor to create a cozy shelter and offer the ideal combination of comfort and modernity. At any point in the night, the restaurant and bar welcome you with open arms, whether it be for a dance, to sip a cocktail or to indulge in a delicious homemade meal. A bonus feature of this Mama is the 180° view of the capital of Flanders. As always, Mama's thought of everything.
Loved the place made our first visit to a Lille relaxing. The breakfast was really plentiful and varied. We were impressed. The bathroom was nice, the TV free movies, the quality of the bedroom and bed was first class. The staff were friendly. The location was practical to see Lille, the distance from the Eurostar station was walkable. We will return.

Due to Ferry delay at Dunquerque we needed to stay overnight. Found this “hotel” on the sat nav. Noisy, smelly, dirty and very unhelpful gentleman at reception. No breakfast provided and price was crazy. Too tired to argue so we stayed. Rubbish. The sign reads “Brit Hotel”. With a little creative graffiti, “Brit” could easily be re-written “Sh#t”. Avoid this place.

completely renovated in 2019 our hotel is located at the foot of the station of lille flandres and 200m from the station of Lille Europe you will stay in the heart of lille
Ideal location across road from main station. Eurostar station only 7 or 8 minute walk away. My single room was quite small and basic but very clean and suggested recent refurbishment. Reception is a door between 2 shops, check-in speedy by friendly staff. Room on 3rd floor quiet enough despite being on main road. Breakfast perfectly acceptable continental for only 7 euros. Hotels in Lille seem to be quite expensive so given that its probably not a bad deal.Wifi worked fine . Tv screen a little small but I did nt need it.

B and B rooms are smart, modern, spacious and airy. Arranged around a courtyard with great breakfast. Good for night if wish to visit Ww1 battlefield of Loos. Village itself quiet and unexceptional. Family run with friendly hosts.

At the heart of a small village of 400 inhabitants, a former stately farmhouse of 1769 houses a grain farm still in operation and 4 charming guest rooms, a real nod to the cultural and industrial heritage of the North. A place steeped in history where successive generations of farmers have passed on the know-how and legends of the past ...

On the centenary of the end of The Great War I was intent on being in the area where my Uncle was killed back in 1916; it seemed the right thing to do. A whizz through Booking.com turned up "Comme un Reve" ("Like a dream" as you probably know) and despite the imited number of reviews here took a chance and booked it I needn't have worried. This was excellent. An annex to the owners' home, it has just two apartments, one on each floor. In the middle, downstairs is a well-equipped shared kitchen, so it you don't always want to dine out it is easy to self cater. Mind you, after the continental breakfast provided each morning you might like to skip lunch. Warm (this was November), clean, well-equipped, it ticks all the boxes. It's very easy to find, and Remi will text you on the day to ascertain your arrival time and make sure the automatic gates are open. You park inches from the front door to the apartments. The upstairs apartment I had included a big, double bed, a 'sitting room' area with a couch and TV and a well-equipped bathroom or rather 'shower room'. A word of caution here... If you don't have a Master's Degree in engineering you may find controlling the shower something of a challenge at first. It has an overhead shower panel, a hand shower, and six body jets at low level. None of the controls are placarded so it's trial and error. But once sorted... it is amazing Anyway, there you are. All I can suggest is I'd stay here again, so you might as well

A recommander
