New York State has it all – booming metropolises, majestic waterfalls, mountains, wine country, chicken wings. Yes, NYC is a magnet for tourists, but an exploration of the rest of the state can be equally thrilling. The Finger Lakes Wine Region is a vision of serene waters, quaint B&Bs, and pretty vineyards. Movie buffs will love Rochester, home of the George Eastman House and one of the world’s most comprehensive film archives. On your way to Niagara Falls, stop in Buffalo to fuel up on spicy wings.

Perfect location, beautiful views and sunsets. Plenty of outdoor seating areas. Beautiful location for a wedding. Close to grocery store and other stores/restaurants. Food was delicious at the wedding.

Really impressed with location, staff and cleanliness of these apartments. Cleaning staff were meticulous with freshly made beds and towels every single day. Front of house guys really helpful and a real friendly vibe throughout. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else whilst in New York! Thanks for a really memorable stay.

The Leo House deserves a warm recommendation from us. I stayed 5 days in May with my daughter (15 years). This place is not a traditional hotel but a guest house. So if you expect daily cleaning, room service and other hotel amenities - this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for affordable accommodation in the middle of Manhattan - then you should definitely consider The Leo House. Rooms are spotless clean (but dated), beds are comfortable, wifi is excellent, breakfast (mon-fri) is good, staff members are welcoming and helpful, situation is perfect in a local Chelsea neighborhood - less than 100 meters from the subway. We will be back...

Located in the heart of Greenport Village, The Menhaden is a boutique 16 room hotel with high-end service and modern amenities. Enjoy the North Fork's only hotel roofdeck and easy access to all the North Fork has to offer, including local vineyards and the beach. Less than two hours from New York City, visit us by train, Jitney, boat or car.
We visited Greenport and stayed at the Menhaden during the week and had an amazing time overall. Rooms were clean and well decorated. The hospitality was so great and everyone at the concierge desk (Mario, Cullen and Aedan) were super helpful. We got great recommendations for restaurants and wineries, and they were very helpful overall. The hotel has a great roof deck and the galley with snacks was such a nice touch.

During the daily service, the cleaners either broke, threw away, or stole my new, branded cologne. I asked hotel staff about this, and they said they would follow-up. They never did, and were dismissive of my claim. Wouldn't recommend staying here.

Beautifully restored with lovely amenities in an excellent location. Comfy beds, very nice baths, and a lovely electric fireplace all add up to a great home away from home. Amenities include a well stocked Keurig, a mini fridge, a room safe and an amazing shower system. Front desk was friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was very clean and the housekeeping staff was very amiable. Overall a lovely stay.

We were a group of 4 couples visiting Cooperstown to see a concert over the weekend. We had a last-minute change with some of our group and they completely accommodated our needs. Every detail was wonderful; from the Adirondack chairs along the babbling brook at the rear of the property, horseshoe pits and outdoor couches to beautifully appointed rooms all newly remodeled. The beds are really comfortable. Continental breakfast was available all day!! Short walk to town. We will definitely be back!! Loved it!!

Henn na Hotel New York will be welcoming guests in Summer 2021.
We stayed in a double-double room. It was modern and spacious, with plenty of room for our luggage and to walk around. Robes and slippers were provided. We liked the large countertop space where we were able to easily eat takeout food. We used the bedside table as a stool for extra seating. Loved the heated Toto Washlet loo seat/bidet combo. Also the animatronic T-Rex in the lobby! Cons: The heating was extremely loud. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim. The bathroom fan was also very loud and could not be turned off when the light was on. The connection to screencast streaming services to the room TV didn't work, despite the maintenance guy trying to fix it. Note: There is a decent-sized refrigerator in the room, but no microwave or coffee maker. If you want a kettle for heating water you have to reserve it in advance, as there is only one for the whole hotel! (It's a nice one, though!)

Safety Alert!!!! The vibe at this hotel feels like the scene of a recurrent crime. Walls are paper thin and they don’t mind throwing 10 people in one room next to you. Don’t flush your money and NY vacation down the toilet. As a matter of fact, if you come from a normal family, I’d advise you stay away from this Flushing area. Feels like being in Timbukto.
