The Cafe Hotel Medellin, is located in the El Poblado neighborhood of the City of Medellin - Colombia, the hotel is in one of the safest and most important sectors of Medellin. The Hotel has 76 Rooms, 2 Restaurants, 1 Bar, 3 Meeting Rooms, Green Zone with Coffee Plantation, Turco, Gimnasio and Jacuzzi (Roman Pool)
This was one of the best Hotels we stayed at in Colombia. Perfect location, very close to the restaurants and bars but still in a nice elegant neighborhood, only 10 mins walk. We always Ubered going back only 0.25$. The room is very modern and the view is super nice from the balcony. Loved the smell of coffee all over the place. Breakfast was very nice and the atmosphere was excellent, I felt like I was sitting in upscale fine dining restaurant having breakfast. Nice relaxing music in the open air. Even my two years old daughter loved how fresh and delicious their food was. Absolutely recommend the place and the staff for any one to stay at.

We are strategically located in one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Medellin, with excellent access roads and 500 meters from the Palace of Events and Exhibitions Plaza Mayor. In our HOTEL BOUTIQUE we have 12 comfortably equipped rooms, and our mission is to provide the personalized service that will make you feel in a warm atmosphere that will generate pleasant experiences.
Parque el Rio is a very nice hotel with helpful personnel. One day we needed to take away breakfast and personnel prepared very tasty sandwiches, fruits and juice for us. Another time we were recommended to take a graffiti tour to Communa 13, which was one of the best in Colombia. Even if staff members cannot help, they will do their best to make it happen. We have got a recommendation about a good restaurant close to the hotel. Even when we left the hotel, Lina, who is probably the owner, tried to find a tour in Bogota for us. She could actually find it for a good price but we have already had another tour booked. We could change money with the best exchange rate in Unicentro (1 km away). It is good that the hotel is not located in the city center! City center is full of homeless people and you do not actually feel safe there. On contrary, Parque del Rio is located in a middle class district. Some nice restaurants are 2-3 km away. Taxi are not too expensive in Medellin. We paid 3-4$ for an evening ride for 3-4 km. My sincere compliments to all hotel personnel! Many thanks for a good guest care!

The Hotel Ayenda Zona Verde is located in the city of Medellín, all rooms have a private bathroom, personal hygiene kit, television and a complimentary bottle of water. Our hotel is very close to Unicentro Shopping Center, just 4 minutes by car, also very close is Laureles, only 6 minutes by car. The closest airport is JMC Airport which is located 39 minutes away, likewise the South Terminal is 12 minutes away by car.
Stayed here for 9 nights and chose it for it’s location close to our friends place. The staff were amazing, always had a friendly smile and eager to help us. They did not speak English and our Spanish is poor ; but through google translate we made it work. Our room was on a corner and had lots of good light, was clean and a decent size. There was not a fridge which we were expecting from our booking; but when we asked they provided one the following day. Breakfast had lovely fresh fruits, juices; but limited if like me you don’t eat eggs. The covered terrace on the 5th floor is a restaurant; but there was no issue with coming up in the afternoon to read with a glass of wine. There is no dedicated outside space to sit and relax. My only negative is the noise. It is located at an intersection and the road noise is loud. There was also construction on one side of the hotel that started early in the mornings. Overall a good experience

What looks like a great place to stay turned into pure disappointment. If you want to sleep, and enjoy the city this is certainly not the place to stay. Overrated, expensive, in the midst of total havoc, surrounded by loud bars, with no closet, a sinking mattress, very tittle in terms of toiletries and a feeling of being cramped up and how thin walls are, this is definitely the hotel from hell! Fire alarms go off, but the wee is no phone in the room for you to dial to the reception. Cable does not work. No coffee maker in the room. Breakfast will cost twice as they order delivery but charge as if cooked there. The only good thing going for them is the hot water, A/C, front desk service and proximity to great vegetarian restaurants. Other than that, get ready to listen to your neighbor arrive at 3-4 am, moving furniture, hammering and his humping! No way to call the front desk as there are no phones!!!! Additionally, the area is extremely unsafe at night, so watch out.

This is like a private apartment that is very close to everything from restaurants, bars, clubs and entertainment. It’s also just a few minutes walking to Lleras Park. My unit was clean and the property manager was always available if you need anything and the building is safe and secure. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Huge suite rooms located close to the party district of "la 70"in Medellin Colombia. Our Hotel target those special people who likes comfort and still want to save some money to spend in all the amenities and attractions that our city have to offer.
I stayed over a week at this hotel. My stay was GREAT, until my last two nights. I asked for absolutely nothing from the staff. I never had the free breakfast, I never left the room dirty, just asked for new towels. All of the girls there treated me really good. It was the only male worker there that ruined it all. Two nights before my stay ended, I came back to the hotel around 6-7pm not late at all. The door was locked, which was not an issue because I understand that it could be due to security purposes. The young man was nowhere near the desk area. It appeared that he had came from the backyard or somewhere in the back. As I walked by the stairs, I got a strange scent in the hotel. During my stay, I never had an issue with the hotel or anything. As I kept walking, I got the smell of Marijuana. My guess is that the gentleman was smoking in the back and locked the door because he was not going to be in the desk area. I ignored it and went to my room. Later, I went out and arrived back to the hotel at approximately 4am. Again, doors were locked. The young man was nowhere to be seen. I rung the doorbell more than 10 times. 40 minutes later he finally hears the doorbell and he comes running from upstairs this time. It looked as if he was just waking up. This man does not deserve to be here. Something could have really happened to me and I could've been in danger. I asked him why did he have me waiting for 40 minutes. And his response was "you were out here for 40 minutes? no way" Not an apology or anything.
