Reviewed By Tanya FWhy not to stay: - DIRTY FILTHY SMELLY rooms and bathroom (our toilet was disgusting and the shower curtain...let's not even go there) - it's in the middle of NOWHERE! Even taxi drivers had to stop continuously to ask people where the road was! Stay in the centre to save time, money and hassle! Why to stay there: -nice owner -good wifi

The hostel has a sun terrace, Wi-Fi, private rooms, good hot showers, hanging space for your wetsuit and a fully equipped kitchen to fuel up for your next surf. Our surf school can provide surfers of all levels with lessons, equipment and trips to other local breaks, including Chicama. Surfing originated in Huanchaco with traditional reed boats, Caballitos de Totora. You can also learn more about caballitos with us, take a caballito tour and even fish and prepare your own ceviche.

Reviewed By Marcelo MSuper helpful and welcoming family owners and staff. Stayed three nights and had a good time experiencing the local Huanchaco culture. Did two surf coaching sessions with John and went out on the caballito de totora as well with an insightful discussion with Santos. Didn’t have time for chicama so I will be back !

Reviewed By Francisco CI stayed at Vimor for 4 nights with my two sons and we had a great time. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Peru. Carlo, the manager, went out of his way to make us feel at home. He managed reliable taxi transport for us and also took us to a caballo de paso show which was a fantastic way to end our visit to Trujillo. I strongly recommend Vilmor!

Reviewed By rosaiselad245Hermoso lugar para descansar y el hotel buenísimo con una esmerada atención. Habitación muy limpia, junto al pueblo que es pequeño y tranquilo. Por la mañana vimos pescadores haciendo su actividad a 5 metros del hotel y al medio día nos prepararon el almuerzo con el producto de esa pesca. Fue una grata experiencia que se volverá a repetir.

We are located in the urbanization San Andres first stage in a very quiet street and only 5 blocks from the Plaza de armas of Trujillo. We have 3 rooms with private bathroom, two of them with private external bathroom and the third with private bathroom en suite. The important thing for us is that you feel at home, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is a courtesy and is always varied. We hope you visit us.

Reviewed By JennyTJLThe location was good near restaurant and local bus station to attractions in Trujillo. It is about 5 blocks away from the city center. The room is cozy and just the right temperature to sleep. Both the bathroom and room are very clean and with very hot shower too. The breakfast is decent with bread, homemade jam from owner which is very delicious, egg, coffee and tea. The owner, Nydia is also very friendly and helpful with our requests. My friend and I really like here and would like to extend if we had more time. Definitely recommended to stay here!

Reviewed By Mary WI called to make a reservation for my MOM, nice service, lady even offer to send a Taxi to pick her since, she is a elderly women, also gave her WhatsApp number for any inconvenience. The reservation was made from USA, so I deposited the money, and reserved right away. I truly recommend this hotel. The negative thing, Is that the bathrooms are tiny.
