A beautiful experience
Reviewed By PritiK787We stayed at the suite in this hotel. The hotel is located away from the centre, but offers an excellent view from the hill top. The swimming pool was right next to our suite and the view from the poolside was excellent as well. Breakfast was served in the room and we really enjoyed the sumptous breakfast. Staff were accomodating to our requests. We had an excellent stay at Mount blue Kandy

Reviewed By kirons712The Hotel is at a beautiful location, overseeing the valley. The place is extremely neat & tidy, The service by Vijay is excellent while the food is nice. The atmosphere is very serene and if one wants to just chill it is an ideal spot. Very well managed by Father Rashmi Fernando , who runs the adjoining Educational & training center.

Reviewed By valkofeeniks+ clean, comfortable + host speaks good English & French + adapters for connecting multiple devices with UK and EU 2-pin plug + beautiful wooden decorations in the house + mosquito net ~ it's a bit dark inside - the house is far from the gate and there is no doorbell so if the gate should be closed for whatever reason, you have to call the owners on the phone or climb the fence ;-) - little space for unpacking During our 3-week holiday, we stayed in 7 home stays. Staff was nice & helpful everywhere, helped us get there, organized programs on demand, arranged tuktuk, etc. These are true for this place too.

Homestay Facility in Kandy,Sri Lanka. We’re 1.5 km from the Kandy Railway station. Our home is situated in a fairly large garden, lots of greenery, and fairly large trees in the vicinity, quiet, undisturbed and relaxing environment. The magnificent view of the Hantane mountain range is visible from our veranda. The guests could have the wake up calls in the morning by the tropical birds. Although in the city, we live in non congested surroundings. Our house constructed in 1992 and it is a split level structure. The design of the residence is based on a 1950 s Sri Lankan country house plan. The guest rooms are at the lower level. Evergreen Homestay has two guest rooms with the capacity to accommodate 6 persons The Guest Room has an adjoining room with a single washroom (a family set up). Guest friendly Hosts !

We had great conversations in the evening with tea and the best breakfast in Sri Lanka. We really felt like part of the family during this short stay, absolutely recommend staying here!

Great spot for stay in Kandy
Reviewed By aprilclare29My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in Kandy at No. 11 Uptown EconoStay. We loved the location as it was up on a hill away from the hustle and bustle and still within walking distance to the beautiful Kandy Lake view point (pictured), lots of shops and restaurants and other popular places such as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. The room was basic but had everything you need and felt spacious and clean. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom facilities worked fine. The lovely host is very welcoming and puts on a great breakfast at your requested time.

Reviewed By DarioSaraBThe location is great, not in the centre, but in front of the lake, though if you get the room with a balcony there is a kindergarden just in front that is quite noisy in the morning! The man who works there is lovely, the hotel has potential, but it’s really badly kept. The room was not exactly clean, the bathroom dirty, there is mould on the walls, Internet hasn’t worked for two days. It’s a real pity because it might be a perfect place to enjoy Kandy.
