Fabulous location, great hotel
Reviewed By Charles_and_SusanThe building and accommodation are designed to look like they've been there for centuries. It's all very comfortable and our room was very well furnished. The view is just great, a special place to relax. The staff are very helpful. We had breakfast each morning which was fresh and plentiful. You do need a taxi into San Agustin, its too far to walk, but you can't fault the hotel.

Apart verblijf midden in de woestijn
Reviewed By André HWe verbleven van 22 tot 24 januari in Alojamiento Casa de Campo los Cactus. Hartelijke ontvangst. We hadden de cabana van plastic flessen geboekt. Het huisje is erg eenvoudig. Geen warm water, geen electriciteit dus neem een zaklantaarn mee. Het ligt echter prachtig in de woestijn de la Tatacoa. We hebben daar ontbijt en diner meegegeten want er zijn bijna geen restaurants in de directe omgeving. Het ontbijt en het diner waren eenvoudig maar goed. We hebben een leuk en apart verblijf gehad in Alojamiento Casa de Campo los Cactus.

This place offers a family environment, the setting of the place it's very typical from the region. You can enjoy the nature and tranquility of the area. We care so much about making you feel confortable and look after you very nicely. The location of this place it's a plus because you are not so far from the downtown and the touristic places are close too. We offer different touristic services such as horseback riding, bike rental and a touristic route.

Reviewed By Brian LThe good: Staff (especially Maruricio) was extremely welcoming. He made us feel at home right away, and addresseed our typical questions before we asked them. Rooms are clean and neat, and have hot water that works. WiFi worked well in the room (one of the few of 45 places in Colombia we've stayed!). The bad: Our room was one of the two on the side street. As such, during the night, youths gathered outside the room playing loud music. Also, dogs barked loudly and nearby several times during the night. Price was quoted as 60,000COP which may be good for this area... but relatively high for the rest of Colombia.

Amazing place - love the people !
Reviewed By 904agnescWhat an amazing lodge ! Very comfortable rooms, nice setting at the edge of a town called Palestina, DELICIOUS food - and oh my, the people are so so very nice ! They welcome you as if they've known you for years. The lodge has feeders where you can see birds you will otherwise never get to see, and you're offered excursions into the mountains. I will return for sure !!

Hostel not apartment perfect location
Reviewed By Yaron MNice hostel located in the main street many shops and restaurants nearby. Big supermarket 10m - very convenient. Rooms are basic, clean, beds were ok, flat small tv. Some rooms were without a window, or a window to the corridor, but we had a room (quite big) with a nice balcony watching the main Street. Shower had an element for heating the water, but the water stream was very weak. There is a common living room with big flat tv, and a common kitchen which is not too equipped, so only basic cooking is possible. The Internet was reasonable speed with good wifi coverage everywhere. Staff was very helpful and kind, and there was free coffee in the morning.

Buen hotel para pasar la noche!
Reviewed By hmora86Muy buen servicio. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y con espacio bien reducido, pero las camas son cómodas. Es un hotel para pasar la noche en Villavieja mientras visitas el desierto. No hay actividades para realizar dentro del hotel además de la piscina. La piscina es pequeña, funciona para disfrutarla por un tiempo corto. Ofrecen café todo el día. Poca variedad en la comida pero deliciosa.

Reviewed By mojocova2019El servicio y la atención de sus propietarios y equipo fueron excelentes, el lugar un poco nuevo, aún tienen algunos detalles por resolver y si tienen en cuenta las observaciones de sus clientes podría considerar una nueva visita. Los accesos a las cabañas son de dificultad media, las cabañas aún con espacio de sobra, las construyeron pequeñas, balcones estrechos, un baño muy incómodo, no hay un perchero o guardaropa, Y para completar no llega agua a la ducha. Estos espacios son incómodos aún para personas de baja estatura. Quienes desarrollen este tipo de proyectos deberían pensar que el viajero quiere ante todo comodidad y buen servicio, buen viento y hasta una próxima oportunidad.
