I spent in January one week in this guest house and I was almost very satisfied. The only thing a bit disturbing was the cold(ish) room, even thoug there was a heater with max power on. But otherwise the room with good bed, toilet, kitchenette and large flat TV with a lot of channels to choose and especially the balcony was excellent. Just below the balcony runs the Guaniana river and you have really nice views to the river and the banks on the other side were lambs walk and eat. What a nice way to start your day by sitting on the balcony looking at the Eurasian crag martins flying around and especially sitting on the TV-antenna and window's cover walls, there could be around 50 birds on the same time. Water in the room became hot in 5 seconds The bed's matress was really good and gave a good sleep. Be aware that there are steep narrow stairs to the room and no elevator. Cleaning was done daily,

My husband and I and our 2 children loved this home! My youngest is 9 and he loved it! It was so peaceful there. The home was beautiful, modern and filled with charm. The pool was beautiful too. Our breakfast was delicious and was lovingly prepared by Philomena in the morning. She will prepare a meal for you if you give her enough advance notice. There is nowhere to eat near by so it may be a good idea to ask her. Or, there are 2 common kitchens offered to cook in which worked out well for us and made for a relaxing evening on the farm. There is one cafe in town for coffee is needed, but a drive to get to the supermarket so plan ahead. But, overall, this was a treat, relaxing, soothing, peaceful and just the quiet off the grid experience we needed. I highly recommend this place!

A beautiful hotel redolent of the finest private members clubs and colonial haunts, Quinta de Charmine in Portugal’s stunning Ferreira do Alentejo, brings new life to a once abandoned 16th Century farm. Set in more than 300 acres of rolling arable land and olive groves, dotted with Roman ruins and offering easy access to the wild beaches and artisan communities of Comporta.
It's an amazing place to stay! Very beautifull and near Lisbon :) Everything was very clean and the staff was absolutly lovely. I only found the pool a bit small. I really recommend this placeI and I will return soon!

A clean, colourful room, top-floor terrace, decent breakfast - a one-night stay which suited us fine. The receptionist kindly stayed up till late since we couldn't make it there in normal check-in times. We recommend parking the car inside the property. Close to the beach and the village centre.

We stayed for a week to walk the Vincentian Route. The accommodation is very quiet. Clean and well equipped rooms. The owners are a lovely couple always attentive to any need. The sunsets by the pool are wonderful. Very well located. Site highly recommended.

To begin, the rooms are very small and the furniture (dressers, tables, headboard) take up a lot of the space that is already non existent. There is no heat or AC for the rooms. The walls are paper thin and you can constantly hear people in other rooms which is even worse and louder if they have their TV turned on. The bathroom is a nightmare, the toilet flushes maybe once every few hours if you are lucky. Water no matter what you do gets all over the floor. When you are showering the water gets blistering hot ever 30 seconds or so briefly and then goes away, this repeats the entire time you are showering. The beds are so hard and firm you might as well be sleeping on the floor with blankets. The pillows might as well be stuffed with newspaper. Noise is also a huge problem here. Staff are CONSTANTLY slamming doors and equipment almost as if they do not care that there are guests. The hotel staff is rarely ever present. You have to almost be lucky in order to get extra towels / toilet paper when you need it. Overall a very uncomfortable and poor experience and would not recommend for anyone to stay here.

Aconselho a 100%. O acolhimento é fantástico. Senti-me em casa. Se pudesse dava 6 estrelas.
