We've been in Manada del Desierto Hotel only two days and it was enough. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was fair but the room for a three star hotel was very bad. There was not room for storage the suitcases. If we had to take out something from the suitcase we had to take it out from the room in the inner yard. Under the bed was a small place to put small suitcases but you couldn't open them. Also the bathroom was so stuffed that all the time I have to use the toilet, I knocked with my head a stand for the towels. The only positive thing was that the hotel was on the main street of San Pedro de Atacama. Also the air conditioner worked. I consider that the price is very high for what you get.

Hostal PUeblo de Tierra its a nice place to relax and enjoy the exeptional nature of the desert. We offer a comfortable terrace with swiming pool to rest when you come back of your excursions.
So enjoyed our stay here! All the staff were so nice, even when they made us breakfast sooooo early. Beautiful, spacious room, enjoyed returning after an exhausting tour. Also the area around the pool and the roof terrace made for a relaxing atmosphere. It was just outside the center, only about a five minute walk, so no problem, even nicer being more peaceful.

In the center of San Pedro de Atacama, we situate ourselves in what was an old Atacama farmhouse. We have respected the environment and the local culture to give you a meeting space, relax and starting point to discover the secrets of the desert. We have 12 beautiful Turi concept rooms, swimming pool, terrace, garden and American Buffet Breakfast.
Ok, so the location is unbeatable — right in heart of the main area of San Pedro. The town is small but other hotels of the same caliber would require a hike to get to the action. The location of Desertica is A+! The property is small and intimate - only 12 rooms which are really private villas. The property and room design and decor are perfect for the desert — rustic yet hints of luxury. Room is basic but well appointed. I had repeat issues with the room safe — required several visits from staff to correct and in the end it still was defective. There is no TV in the room which I actually preferred but wifi is a big issue. It’s intermittent at best and for $350 USD per night for a standard room is unacceptable. I was told by a staff member that it was a city wide issue. I was there 3 nights and wifi was awful for entirety. Staff is nice, cleanliness is high. Pool is nice and the bar/restaurant are very private and quaint which I liked. Breakfast is also a plus but starts at 8am which is hard to make since if you tour in the AM you will miss it! Overall very good stay but for the price, the value wasn’t completely there.

In his(her, your) surroundings The Flemings are important attractions as the geysers of the Tatio, the Valley of the Moon and the national Reservation(Reserve), besides archaeological ruins and other historical monuments as Quitor's pucará.
We booked for 7 nights, the staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly and the rooms were just as the pictures with comfortable bed and decent bathrooms, however , if you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. Every noise from our room, the kitchen, other people's rooms, from their alarm clocks to their flushing toilets and the gentleman evacuating the contents of his nose in the corridor echoed throughout the whole hotel and into our room. Added to this the doorbell rang loud and clear at all times of night and day waking us up constantly throughout the night. Such a shame, we only stayed one night.

The facility is good enough, and it’s very clean! He takes good care of the hostel and most of all he takes great care of his guests! He helps me with everything I needed including my issue with flight, tour booking, bicycle renting just to name a few. He is always patient, smiley and you would feel that he takes genuine care of you. It is a very basic facility with very reasonable cost. I stayed in some exclusive hotels at the beginning of my stay but I am happy that I found this hostal as it’s much more cost efficient and comfortable enough!

Hostal montepardo is a quiet and cozy hostel just 10 minutes away walking from the center of the town and 5 minutes away from the bus station. The hostel has common areas such as a covered terrace, kitchen and dining room where breakfast is served. Its 7 rooms have private bathroom.
Very cute and clean, small hotel. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised, how nice it was. New and clean bathroom, very nicely decorated common areas. Large new kitchen with some seats where a good breakfast with fresh fruit and juices is served, also accessible for hotel guests anytime for a tea/coffee or even to prepare food. Bicycles available for free for a quick ride into the town center (5 min by bike). Nice and friendly staff. It’s really not a hostel, feels more like a small boutique hotel. Highly recommended, would return any time. Excellent value for money!

Cielo Ancestral is located in San Pedro de Atacama. The dome rooms have a sealing window offering views of the sky. Private bathrooms are coated with marble.Offers swimming pool and a privileged location for observation of the night sky. You will find a tour desk at the property, offering a range of services. San Pedro de Atacama Church is 6 km away, access to the Moon Valley is only 3 km from Cielo Ancestral, and Aldea de Tulor is 1.5 km away. El Loa Airport is 100 km away.
We stayed here three nights with 3 dome like houses. The houses are very neat and quite unique. Philico spoke fluent English and has been very helpful. It is located very close to moon valley. The only setback is that you need to have your own transportation to go around. It is very quite but there is no shops within walking distance.

Stayed here for 3 nights before traveling to Uyuni and 2 nights after coming back. The stay was for the most part good. The family room was spacious and even provides some privacy with the shelf separating the room. The room was a bit warm during the summer and there was no air conditioning. Only during the late night did it get cooler...The hosts are quite friendly although the welcoming emails are bit confusing. The payments are in cash (either USD or CHP) - the prices are always quoted in USD. It's located a bit on the outside of the center (on the eastern side) but it takes only 10-15 min walk into the center (if you can call it that..). Overall, it's not a bad option to consider!
