This place is fabulous! As a former Bangkok resident, I returned to the city after a long hiatus and was frankly blown away by how much had changed - not always for the better. I was so happy to find Klai Kaya, which took me back to an earlier, more peaceful time. The traditional Thai massage here is exactly that: strong, tailored to what you need, and extremely reasonably priced. No hustles here! I also found the massage space to be super peaceful - a dark, quiet, cool room with curtains dividing the individual massage areas to allow for complete privacy. It's incredible that Klai Kaya is right off Silom, down the Thai food soi .... it feels miles away. I went twice during my time in Bangkok, and it was never crowded or loud. I had two wonderful therapists (Ple and Yo) - who were recommended for me by the lovely reception staff, based on my interest in very strong massage to help me manage my chronic TMJ disorder. Both women were utterly amazing, providing real precision work throughout my back, shoulders, neck, head, and feet. Unlike many other therapists, who expect foreigners to be incapable of withstanding "real" Thai massage, they totally went for it and I put myself completely in their hands. I couldn't have been happier. Two of the best massages of my life!

Perception Blind Massage (Silom Branch)

Perception Blind Massage was launched in December 2014, with an aim of introducing new massage place concept to Bangkok while providing employment for blind or visually impaired therapists. We let them demonstrate their unique talent for massage therapy as they are able to fully focus on their sense of touch in a way others cannot.

My partner and I booked a 3 hour package for 3000 baht for the 2 of us which included a 1 hour Thai massage, 1 hour head, back and shoulders and 1 hour aromatherapy which was such great value! Be warned, when you arrive you fill out a sheet with your details and the pressure you'd like and if you'd like any particular area having extra work (e.g. shoulders). If you select deep pressure you will get DEEP DEEP DEEP pressure! I was in pain from the deep pressure massage but he worked my muscles out so well that I felt amazing the next day! Partner selected medium pressure which seemed a better/less painful option. I highly recommend you visit either of the 2 Perception locations if you're in Bangkok as the massage was great, its a fantastic concept and supports people into employment that might otherwise struggle to work. The massage studio is a clean and well presented studio in a convenient location.

Dahra Beauty & Spa - Silom

Reviewed By SamanthaM426 - Melbourne, Australia

We chose the Dahra spa for two reasons. Firstly the excellent reviews and secondly it happened to be close to our hotel. We both had a foot/leg massage to try it out and then I had a full spa treatment a couple of days later. The staff are extremely pleasant (albeit the treatment ladies do not speak particularly good English, but enough to get by). The spa was extremely clean and the treatments were very good. Cannot fault the experience and exceptional value for money. Yes you can get cheaper (some places a lot cheaper) but not for the quality of the establishment. They had a special on for the full spa treatment (herbal treatment, body scrub, body wrap, aromatherapy massage and milk treatment (all full body) and a facial) for 2,450 bht approx $225aud. Would definitely recommend and return if in the area.

Usually we go to another massage salon in the area, but now it is already crowded. We chose this one, and we were very pleased. Very clean and relaxing place. Friendly staff. Very good massage - neither strong nor weak - just as we needed it. After the massage they also ordered us a taxi. Unfortunately, on our next walk it turned out that all the hours were busy :( But the receptionist was so kind as to order us a taxi again. Thank you!

I did my 500 hr Yoga TTC in Embrace Energy Yoga School in March 2019 and it was one of the most rememberable times in my life. I went there with not much expectation, I came to Thailand and choose this yoga school while I was there, I was looking at different schools and this one was by far the most interesting school for me, as I had immediately a feeling of trust in this yoga school. While talking to the teacher, I directly knew that this is the yoga school where I want to go to and I m more than happy that I ended up in this school. All the teachers welcomed me as a part of their family, all of them really care about you and they always want to make sure that you feel good. Whatever issues or questions you may have, you can always talk to them. For me, it felt like being in a new family for 10 weeks and I still cant describe my thankfulness and happinnes towards Embrace Energy yoga school and the whole team. Everyone is so compassionate, loving and caring. It was very hard to leave this family at the end and I will always come back. Thank you so much for everything ! And for the rest I can say, that the program they offered was amazing, it was challenging in a very good way, the yoga classes were the best I ever had in my life ,they really want you to leave this school as a new person, with new knowledge and as a better person to share this knowledge to the world. I m so happy for everything I ve learned there, thanks again to the amazing teachers! This 10 weeks were very intense and transformable, they changed a lot in me in a good way and I m so grateful and happy that I could make this experience in Bangkok near Great yogis from India ,Yogi Lalit and Master Eddy and another teachers are so kind and They always help us to improve my practice . in Embrace Energy Yoga school, which is full of blessing and lots of happiness Thank you so much, Namaste ????????????.

Arima Onsen

Reviewed By DxG101 - Singapore, Singapore

Arima Onsen Resides in the heart of red-light district near to putpong. The signage isn't apparent, but you can see the sign after you walk nearer into its vicinity. Once stepped into the premises, the receptionists will greet you at the counter. The menu on the table is for your selection. I paid 1400 the for an hour Thai massage, an hour foot massage, a 20 mins body scrub with unlimited time onsen. The onsen isn't big, but it's enough space for a quick soak and a sauna room. The massage was excellent. The ladies can handle ”harden” muscles with their strength. I walked out, giving tips to my therapist as she did an excellent job. I have added her picture with her permission. You may look for her. Have a good rest ahead! Advice Just go! Look for #47, Ms JOEI. Picture enclosed.
