My massage business is based in the mountain region of Raches, Ikaria although I travel all over to massage at your place. I offer sessions lasting from 30 minutes to 2 hours for locals and visitors. Sessions are by appointment only, at your home or hotel. I have a gentle approach. I use many different techniques within each session, including deep tissue massage, mobilisation, gentle energy work. My clients leave relaxed and feeling freer in their bodies. I also run one, two or three day introduction to massage seminars for couples, families, friends and small groups to learn the basics so you can massage your close ones.
Tara is wonderful! Responsive, reasonable, professional FANTASTIC massage. She came to our room with massage table and provided some of the best massage ever to my friend and I for a reasonable rate, with the sound of the waves below. Plus, she is a lovely person. Can't recommend her highly enough.

The healing water in which you will enjoy your bath, begins its way to the surface from deep of 2.500 metres from the bowels of the earth and springs in the temperature of 39.5o C near the locations of hot springs. During its long way through the earth goes through the various rocks that enrich it in valuable subtitues for our health. The hot water as it exactly comes out from the earth, is being driven to the two pools of the bath, with no mixes as its temperature is ideal for the human body. During the classification of the Greek Union of minicipalities and communities for the hot spring, the specific water is characterised as medium-temperature, metalic, unispired and it is advisable for reumatism, neuralgias, arthritics, gynecological problems and chronic outcome of injuries.
This is a lovely spa on a large inlet from the sea. There is an excellent pool and if you desire you can go into the sea. The main area has a bar with snacks and wonderful coffee. You sit either inside or outside and spend as much time as you wish just reading, talking or sunbathing. Excellent massages are also available. The spa is a short drive from Mytilene and well worth the trip.

We visited this establishment in 1990. It was totally different to today, in some disrepair and totally unstaffed. There was no charge for admission. It was very much a unisex nudity experience, which was off-putting at first but was quite good fun. there were three middle aged English couples there, all of whom were happy to strip, except for one of the men who couldn't quite bring himself to, much to the the amusement of the ladies. As I recall, the sea wasn't too cold after the hot bath in the "beehive", because some of the hot water flows in to it. Best visited by Tardis, I would say. I have some photos somewhere, will upload if the censors agree...
