dining alone, I got English translation quite easily from the waiter. Had well presented three course meal plus a drink for just over 17 Euro although main course was rather salty but perhap not the best choice on my part. For three nights had six course dinners with an international group and food excellent on the whole. Unfortnately dinner there was late by British standards at 9pm but that seems normal in spain.

Delightful meal - wide range of tapas and raciones, some very pleasant wines and very friendly service. No English spoken by anyone, but a mixture of pointing, broken attempts at Spanish managed to navigate the menu. The found prices were very reasonable compared to one at a parador the night before, where the food was indifferent, service was poor and costs were high. Good, noisy atmosphere that felt really Spanish.

Nice atmosphere ideal to have a quiet drink or enjoy a proper Moroccan tea, they offer various Moroccan dishes for lunches and dinners. Nicely decorated.

Read about the restaurant here on trip advisor. Went by at 19:30 and it looked closed. But I am glad we went back at nine. One of the best starters I have ever had. Unfortunately the waiter didn't speak any English and we didn't speak Spanish. But he managed to serve some lovely food. Good selection of beer, gin and wines.

Quality! from the Chupa Chup quail leg starters (a must) to the suberp quality and cooking of the meat, even the salad had us raving about quality. The uniqueness of the menu was a welcome change in Spain.

Stopped for lunch between Toledo and Oropesa. Had trouble deciding what to order so asked the waiter. That's the way to go as we received honest feedback. The salmorejo (gazpacho w bread crumbs mixed in, etc) was to die for! Pleasant and attentive waiters.

Newly open this restaurant is no doubts one of the most original restaurants I have ever been in. Not only the creativity of the dishes is exceptionally elaborated, taking some typical dishes to a new level, the service is in an unusual way pleasantly friendly and familiar, I felt like having dinner at at friends restaurant. Here quality is more important than quantity and you will find dishes are served in small portions which at the end are proven more than satisfying. As a suggestion, a wider wine menu will be interesting and creating a permanent menu, instead offering only the options of tasting menus, will be advisable. In a town where gastronomy is becoming a trade mark, such a restaurant was needed somehow. I will definitively come back a few more times.
