We have found this restaurant through trip advisor and what a find! As we arrived we were greated by the owner and great impressions from the start. We had our 1 year old daughter and he offered us soup for her.... Home made and delicious. She loved it.After that we had the Jamon Serrano, salmon rolls, octupus and chipirones.... All divine and of outstanding quality.Adding to this food feast, service was impeccable and one of the best we had recently. We were also amazed by the fact that they had available gluten free bread especially when we had forgotten ours. Thank you very much for this amazing meal.Mil gracias Rosario por toda la descripción detallada que ha hecho de nuestro servicio y cocina. Un saludo.

Looking for the friendliest, warmest and most authentic, original restaurant in santa cruz? We've found it. With only 15 seats and no menu at all it is one of the most amazing experiences we've ever had. Whilst sitting at the "bar", which also is the kitchen, talking to the chef and the hostess who don't speak any language except Spanish, we ate our perfectly cooked steaks. The staff doesn't speak english but they try to make theirselves understandable. Just order what they suggest and you won't be disappointed.10/10

After reading such positive reviews we decided to give it a tr for Saturday lunch. It was not very busy and we did wonder why. The menu is small with quite a few extra dishes available given to us by the waitress we had prawns to share, oxtail and Chernenko local fish for our main courses .The prawns were not cooked properly and were mushy. We asked them to change it for something else which was no problem. We chose a tostada with foi gras. The tostada was a potato pancake with foi gras on the top which tasted fine but was very oily and had been fried. The cherne was a main dish full of stuff! Vegetables all fried and oily, sweet potato, small Canadian potatoes, tomatoes, carrot, and finallythe cherne which was loaded on to of a tower of the other things. It was all cold and all I could taste was oil. The oxtail was ok ,tasted fine ,nothing special. The bread basket was unusual with all sorts of crispy bits but totally pretentious and unnecessary.Over all we found this quality of food poor, the cooking mediocre and quite expensive 56 euros for a very pooor meal. We would not go again.

We were quite a large group of people (thirteen) and the staff was very kind in setting up a large table for us to sit together. They brought starters on the house which were delicious. All people at the table ordered burgers and we were all very pleased with our choices. My burger stood out from the rest as it had an unusual combination of goat cheese, honey and walnuts. Would definitely go there againHoria thank you very much for your beautiful words. Especially thanks for leaving us a review on this platform that helps us to continue growing day by day. We are glad you enjoyed the visit and we promise to keep surprising you.

Spanish tapas, Local cuisine, Tartar and Selection of wines. Enjoy our traditional cuisine prepared using the finest local products in a relaxed atmosphere.
We got here based on reviews. It must have been a long/bad shift, because the waiters weren't as friendly/professional as one would expect. We were a group of six, but only half of us wanted to eat - this was the first moment we felt unwelcomed. Initially we opted for a table outside, but after a few minutes we if we could move inside. We were told that every table is reserved, although no one came during the time we were there. The food was good, almost great, but to charge someone for appetizers we didn't order seems a cheap shot [we got bread and anchovy paste, which was delicious, but still, and initially thought it was a sort of a welcome "bite"]. So, the two stars are for the food, nothing more. And, also, I am pretty sure one of the waiters cursed me behind my back, when I was returning from the bathroom. Really? We really appreciate you taking the time to write you really enjoyed our food, however your accusation about ours waiters'behavior is very serious and unacceptable. You should not FALSELY accuse our waiter of having cursed you. They all are always respectful with all customers.Certainly you could not move to another table because there was another reservation.Regarding the anchovy paste, the bread and the olives, they all were a welcome gift, we do not charge you for thatWe ask you and your friend to please remove those FALSE reviews that damage our restaurant. It'll be a pleasure to welcoming you again in D'tapas,26.Jose Luis Duque

Guannabà is a restaurant located in the old town of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in an old and typical Canarian house that has been completely renovated achieving a modern and cosmopolitan design, but respecting and maintaining the charm of the rustic and old.
Visited this place during our first night in Tenerife. Didn't disappoint! Decoration was that of a more modern - European level, the staff were extremely friendly and polite, the food was very nice and tasty (apart from maybe the noodle Paella which was not up to our personal liking) and the presentation was that of high class restaurant. Definitely wasn't expecting to eat as good as this! Was a great surprise. If you want to taste original tapas etc, then this is not the place to go as everything comes "with a twist".Would suggest it if you are in Santa Cruz.

Tapas Bar and restaurant located in the central area known as the 'Calle de la Noria'. It has a great variety of dishes from the Andalusian cuisine, as well as the Canarian, with a special shout out to fresh seafood. 'El Porrón' offers a superb gastronomi

My wife and I had a really lovely evening. We arrived a little early and were received by a well-behaved waiter and Danny Nielsen. We were placed at a lovely table in the bright and well-appointed surroundings. The menu is in Spanish so we got a good presentation in Danish from Mr. Nielsen. 5 different dishes were served, which was extremely tasty and had a very good taste composition. The main course consisted of a medium fried black angus ribeye steak and homemade pomfrit as well as garlic butter. The dish could have been perfect with some garnish in the form of vegetables or roasted mushrooms. The wine menu was well balanced to the food. The kitchen and waiters work very well together with great precision even with an almost full occupied restrant. Best regards Peter
