The first impression was that this restaurant must be kind of expensive, taken the business people on the other tables. They have no menus, and the staff speaks very very little english. They speak Catalan, which we didn't understand, and also couldn't speak. So we relied mostly on what the staff recommended- as we couldn't understand 80% of what they said. Everything was absolutely delicious, the meat, the fish, the sangria, the tapas! I recommend it! But you need to speak spanish or catalan well to understand the staff, and you need to prepare seeing people dressed in suits there.

Taking a stroll through the many and varied stalls can't be missed. There are so many interesting things to catch your attention, not least the many street artists who's skills are amazing. We walked it 3 times and saw different things each time. The covered market about half way down is another must, were the produce is arranged on the stall in fantastic patterns and arrays, a sight to behold! Don't miss it.

Tendencia a reinventar el clásico bar de tapas, haciendo una cocina inspirada en la cocina tradicional, internacional, creativa y evocadora, sin pretensiones.
Absolutely delicious and quite cheap given the quality of the dishes (20 euros per personne including starter, main course and dessert all very tasty). The chef is very friendly, the atmosphere welcoming. we had lunch there and are planning to try the evening menu. If you plan to go, book a table as this place is a deserved success.

Really, very, very good. They have a Michelin star, and you can see why. The typical parade of delicate, exquisite dishes.Service was excellent and the restaurant very attractive inside. But somehow they seem un pretentious, with friendly staff from the boss down, and the chef dropped by each table at the end of the meal.We came away satisfied and not hungry (which is not always the case in these restaurants)The list of dishes was too long to remember an recite, but the fish was delicious, as was the tomato dish, however my favourite was probably the white aubergine. All delicious, and thoroughly recommended!

We've been to this bar with the family. The place is located in a pedestrian square. There is a outside terrace and there paid parking next to it. We've ordered some 'Bravas', swordfish with coriander, fried dogfish, fried cuttlefish and fried calamari. All was very good but in particular the swordfish, amazing!!! The service was fast and the staff is very nice. The place was full of locals, a place to go and enjoy good fish.

We are a family business in the hospitality sector since 1969 we are located in the Barcelona neighborhood of Sant Marti. Our menu combines traditional recipes with innovative avant-garde dishes, international ingredients and exotic flavors. We are famous
The Sant Martà restaurant, crowded by residents of the neighborhood ( Sant MartÃ) and locals, creates a comfortable atmosphere through a simple decor. The owners and the staff offers thoughtful service far from the usually rude attitude of some restaurants in Barcelona. The quality of the products are on the top of the list. Dot not expect nouvelle or fusion or mix, etc cuisine. You will find in the chart calamarcitos, chocos, buñuelos of cod, bravas or foie, cheeses, jamón ibérico, entrecote, secreto ibérico ( very advisable) or even pasta. The weakest point on the list are the desserts. On the other hand you can choose wines by the glass ( ask to the staff the range because this option is not showed on the wineschart) or a bottle. Whites, reds, rosés, cavas from the country. A few from Italy or Germany. The amount, average, 30.- eur per person.Despite Sant Martà is beside the main sightseeing spots in the city ( 5 minutes walk from the Sant Martà subway), the visit is a must have on your wishlist. I have been there many times and always the same idea cross my mind: Why not a second Sant Martà in the city center?. Perhaps this is their secret...
