Visited with my daughter and granddaughter for a light meal. Ordered two toasted sandwiches and two sides of fries. The food arrived and only one sandwich plus two plates of tiny potato sticks (not fries) which were lukewarm. The sandwich which did turn up was made from very stale bread and inedible and most of the fries were also left. I asked for the bill and was grossly overcharged. I repeatedly asked for this to be amended and also complained about the quality of the food and suddenly none of the staff could speak English although they had previously. Eventually the correct bill was presented.

The restaurant is situated in a small square of bars and restaurants and is clearly the most upmarket but we found it a bit souless. Service was just about the acceptable side of sullen. Food was good quality and well cooked, delicious veal fillet steak, but as another reviewer said garnish of a few chips and half a roast pepper shows lack of imagination in the kitchen.Quite a nice hot starter of baby broad beans with iberico ham is big enough to share.Asked for a bottle of red and an excellent Rioja appeared and reasonably priced.Like a lot of restaurants in the area not much English spoken but there's an English version of the menu.Food good, ambience non-existant so on that basis would not return.

We went with some Spanish friends to this place. We was driving to Madrid so we wanted some food before the journey. The chicken was over cooked and tuff. The staff was friendly, but that's all I can really say about this place. Sorry that your chicken were very roast , try not to cook it too to be juicy , but sometimes it happens .... if they return for AlmerÃa , we invite you to check that it was a fluke and not something that happens every day , for Please like us to change the image that we have given them

Sat inside on the first visit which is so pretty! My husband had the most amazing Argentinian rib eye steak .. it was so amazing we decided to go back on our last night. The chips are amazing - iberico fillet delicious- service understated but fabulous. We LOVED it and was our holiday highlight Great value and wine reasonably priced

lovely positioned chiringuito, nice menu, then all down hill. on arriving we were shown to our table by one of the waiters with an attitude. the food arrived looked ok , i had halibut 3 tiny over cooked slices ( not at all nice). the worst was yet to come the children's meal came ( grilled chicken) while helping to cut it up for my grandson i could'nt believe my eyes it was still raw in the middle, on telling the waiter he shrugged his shoulders took it away and brought it back after more cooking. no apolagie's offered. while sitting saw more food returned by other customers. would not go back!!!

Great service, great value, nice atmosphere. Ribs were on special 12 euros, great quality and large portions. This area is very Spanish and that's one of the reasons we came here, but this one of the places were all the staff speak great English, so no communication issues.

Tapas bar located in Plaza de la Constitución (Plaza Vieja) of AlmerÃa. We cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, daily menu and gourmet tapas of high quality and winners of lot of local prizes. Also, we brew our own craft beer El Chato.
This bar/restaurant is located just off the Paseo de Almeria close to the banks. Many of its customers are local office workers. I only had drinks here (very good price), having already lunched, but I could see the quality and value of the Menu del Dia still being served at about 4pm. If I were in Almeria again, I would come here for lunch. Service was friendly and pleasant.
Spanish meals, tapas included with drinks and much more!
Por fin el local encuentra los inquilinos adecuados, buenas tapas buenas raciones, camareros atentos, esperemos que dure mucho tiempo, muchas gracias por el servicio
