New restaurant in Valencia, speciality in rice, paella and Mediterranean cuisine. Come and meet us, we have the best prices.
Our hotel tried all day to make a reservation, but the phone was constantly busy. So, without a reservation, we were welcomed, shown a nice table and served by smiling attentive staff. The small outside entrance hides a beautifully appointed surprisingly large multi-story eating area. Our meal was super, the wine was delicious (and reasonably priced) and the whole experience was totally top-shelf. Really, this is a professionally run restaurant with warm small-town feeling. Our whole experience was five star all the way.

Salón grande luminoso con terraza comda mediterránea muy bien comunicado con chef reconocido con cocina de autor.
We were quite disappointed with the lunch menu and especially the terrible service. The food was a mixed bag, Cloxinas, Gazpacho & Rice quite nice, Albóndigas very salty, salad and dessert nothing to write home about. But the worst was the service, totally ignored for 1/2 hour and the waiter with the glasses couldn't care less about his customers. Later a guy who was quite willing took over and the owner looks like he belongs somewhere else, but not in his own restaurant. No recommend, better go somewhere else, esp. if you are not part of the close circle of Valenciano friends and a foreigner.

ALENAR it's a former word in valencian language that means: to breath deeply. Actually it is what we usually do when we are in front of our beloved Mediterranean sea. We are a tapa's bar: this a traditional way of eating at Spain that consists on ordering
We visited Alenar because of the Tripadvisor 4 and a half stars and were heavily disappointed because that is a bar with tables that serves canned stuff with a touch of innovation. The quality is medium, including their three kinds potatoes, their canned tuna and even their sardines. It was too late to change but we found it very disappointing. We are a tapa's bar: this a traditional way of eating at Spain that consists on ordering many tapas that go at the center of the table and everyone shares it. We are a genuine valencian tapa's place. Most of them are cold but some warm. It's a pity that you didn't understand the traditional concept as the vast majority does with top quality local products. But obliviously, it's impossible to delight everyone.

Closed for holidays until 10th of September 2018
Extremely popular paella restaurant, always full and queueing, so book in advance. They provide all kinds of paella, including common seafood or inkfish versions. I would recommend paella valenciana, the earliest and most traditional Valencia taste. This and the vegetarian paella are the 2 dishes that need to book at least 1 day in advance.

We had paella and wine here, which are excellent as many comments confirm. We had a wonderful and rare experience here which I want to share. After having delicious lunch here we paid with a credit card. First, we offered American express, they did not have it then tried a visa and leave the restaurant with pleasure. The following day we received an email from the owner saying that they overcharged our credit card by accident (the bill was 48â¬, we were charged 84â¬) and he wishes to send us back the amount overcharged to the account number we provide. This was a very gentle, very kind behavior, ethical conduct of business which we appreciate very much, as we would not notice that difference. Thank you very much again Mr. Jose Estevens...

Restaurant with modern and delicious dishes with eggs and many more!
The texture, taste and quality of the tapas are on another level. Every dish was a best in class and it was impossible to fault the restaurant, the service was attentive but not encroaching, the pricing was very reasonable considering the food here outshines other restaurants in the city that charge twice as much. If there was something I could take back from Valencia it would be this restaurant. A must.

A place where another type of cuisine is possible, diverse and affordable for everyone. The star ingredient in La Taska is passion.
After 10 days of very similar (but delicious) Valencian dishes, it was very refreshing to try this little village restaurant. The owners are obviously trying to be a bit different with some Asian influences and interesting presentation. Pork knuckle starter was melt in the mouth, surprise parcels were delicious. Mains were good but Iberian Pork was slightly salty for my taste. One of our must expensive meals but worth it for a treat.

Small and familiar restaurant specialized in rice, our specialties the seafood paella, the paella of carabineros, the paella of lobster, let us advise you with our selection of Valencian wines that will surprise you.
This is a very small typically simple Spanish restaurant. It is simply decorated and certainly not salubrious, however more importantly it was spotless, well furnished and nicely presented. The place seems to be run by a family with only one person serving, however, here's the rub, the service was excellent. The waiter was extremely helpful, and very pleasant. Now to the food. My oh! my. This is food to really savour. The two starters we shared were lovely home made croquets but the cuttlefish in mushrooms and asparagus was simply delicious. We had pre-ordered the seafood paella which you need to do when you book a table, which you MUST. The place is very much a little tourist haven and the owner had to turn people away who had not reserved, so reservation is essential. The paella, had the most wonderful flavour and cooked to perfection. For desert, the home made carrot cake was moist and delicious and the chocolate and orange cheese cake was different and fantastic. Now here's he other rub. For a meal like that with sparking water and two beers, two coffees only came to â¬59.Will I go back, most definitely and the maximum of 5 discs is not enough for Pasqualet. It is already rated the number one in El Palmar and it is certainly going to stay there serving food like it does. Long may it thrive.
Local restaurant located in the center of Valencia specialized in traditional Spanish cuisine. Selection of tapas and a very popular menu of the day at lunch time.
We had a wonderful seafood paella as recommended by the waiter. Perfectly fresh ingredients and full of flavours. I can recommend this place to anyone who wants a good valenciano paella.
