Se trata de un local muy bien situado en la carretera de Carballo a Ponteceso,con un buen aparcamento y una atención excelente,con unas tapas muy buenas y muy abundantes.Tiene una pantalla para poder ver por ejemplo un partido de futbol extraordinaria.

We had a lovely lunch here, outside under umbrellas looking out at the harbor. My wife had a delicious green salad and I had an exquisite scallop dish...7 scallops, beautifully presented and excellently prepared. Quite a wonderful experience and a great surprise, since we just got here after about 18 hours of traveling. This plus a beer, a glass of wine and four coffees (friends joined us for coffee) cost only â¬30. A real bargain for a wonderful lunch on the first day of vacation!

Been here a few times and always impressed by the friendly staff and prices. Seems to be very family friendly yet one of the coolest places in town. Great handcut chips and big glasses of vino. Cold beer. Its very busy ...don't expect 5 star clinical conditions.

Se trata de UNA CAFETERIA,en la que puedes desayunar,tomar un aperitivo con tapas y raciones variadas,incluso te sirven comidas .El servicio está compuesto por SANDRA ,que en la cocina es una máquina de hacer maravillas para el "PALADAR" y no digamos como prepara las PIZZAS.SUSO,es el encargado de servir en la BARRA Y EN LAS MESAS,con su peculiar SIMPATIA.Y por las noches las COPAS MUY BIEN ELABORADAS.MERECE LA PENA VISITARLO.

Muy mala experiencia, no lo recomiendo en absoluto, sabado dia 6/7/19. Llegamos sobre las 15:00, nos atiende un señor de unos 55 años, alto, pelo canoso, con gafas. Le preguntamos para comer 2 personas, a lo que contesta que NO hay sitio, que tendran mesas ocupadas hasta las 4 ,a pesar de tener mesas libres dentro del comedor, en el propio bar y en un apartado que era como una especie de terraza, a pesar de eso le pido por favor si nos pueden dar algo de comer por que llevabamos muchas horas de viaje aunque fuera en la barra del bar o terraza, la respuesta sigue siendo NO. Aun asi le pido si hacen aunque sea bocadillos, y el señor por llamarlo del alguna manera dice que NO. Teniendonos que buscar la vida por ahi, menos mal que habia un eroski cerca y cogimos unos bocadillos. La experiencia con este señor y en este sitio ha sido de lo peor que he tenido que soportar. Creo que a unas personas que llevan un monton de kilometros encima y que piden unas tapas o un bocadillo lo minimo es hacerselo que te lo van a pagar, no te lo piden gratis, creo que es de ser muy poco humano y tener mucha sobervia encima. Seguro que le sobraran clientes pero desde luego nosotros jamás volveremos alli, y desde luego publicidad por nuestra parte, no la tendrá buena

CafeterÃa,bar,restaurante,estanco,es lo más céntrico del Pueblo de PONTECESO,está siempre a tope de público,tiene unas tapas impresionantes de bien hechas,bien presetadas y muy abundantes y la tortilla es para volver una y otra vez pues la jefa de la cocina (VEVA),tiene un arte para las tapas que no hay quien la iguale.Moncho el dueño es un gallego muy gallego pero buena persona.HAY QUE VISITARLO EN SEMANA SANTA.

Well positioned, it has a great view over the sea. We tested some "chipirones" and "zamburiñas". They were okay, but not so good as we had before in other restaurants of Costa da Morte.

We were staying in a villa just up the road from here, and were very glad to have such a good restaurant in walking distance! We came twice and enjoyed all of the different raciones that we tried: very well-cooked and good value Galician food. Special mention for the chuletón steak- it was massive for the price (â¬17) and absolutely delicious!

I get so excited when I tell people about this place. The journey to it, its location and the wonderful host, food, music and wine that awaits is extraordinary. Some of us travelled by motorcycle from SE France and the UK and were recommended to try Mar de Ardora by a girl in Pamplona. When we arrived we were immediately made to feel welcome by the Galician owner and chef who had worked for many years in London. He made me scrambled eggs with scallops and melba toast which were divine on the terrace with a glass of local white wine. I followed that with some locally caught fish cooked in the Gallega style (slow baked with tomatoes). I was unable to return this last time but some friends left me in Oviedo and continued to the Costa del Muerte including this place. They were not disappointed!
