We stopped in this quaint restaurant at about 1:00pm to have a couple of cañas and vinos. The place was more and less empty. We were greeted by a middle aged waiter who was quite friendly. He gave a nice bowl of cooked potatoes, with beef and green peppers. It was perfect for a chilly December afternoon. The second tapa was a plate a grilled mushrooms served in spicy garlic / olive oil sauce. Fantastic!I would not order the house red, which lacked any body or flavor, for that matter. The cañas were well pulled. Definitely a better option.In the end, the drinks were 1â¬, which was about 25 - 30% compared to most of the other places in the main square

Una acierto para celebrar todo tipo de eventos, mi familia y yo lo tenemos como sitio de referencia para nuestras celebraciones desde hace muchos años. El trato familiar que derrocha Jose Antonio es de valorar un gran profesional y muy resolutivo. Resumiendo les doy un diez en atención y calidad de sus productos. Seguir asi!!!

Comida tradicional castellana, con un toque de innovación si uno quiere y clásica si no es asÃ. Pedimos unas cestas rellenas de verduras y gambas, buenas y carne de segundo. La carne es de buena calidad. Un entrecot grande, tierno y sabroso y una milhojas de solomillo con foie y trufa, con el toque innovador que apuntaba antes, también rica aunque el sabor a trufa constaba encontrarlo. Y de postre una tarta de queso deliciosa. Con cervezas y café, y teniendo en cuanta que compartimos primero y postre la cuenta no llegó a 35 euros por persona, un precio que considero correcto para la comida realizada. After i ate here once i came back to eat for my entire stay in Spain. First of all, the people who work here are very welcoming and they make the stay very pleasant.I tried literally the entire menu and i can recommend the appetizers, especially the croquettes, the sardines which come on a bad of tomatoes and olive oil, the octopus carpaccio. My favorite was the goat cheese with sweet onion and the risotto which was the best i ever ate. For the first plate i ate a very good beef steak, and my friend ordered duck which was delicious. This is a family restaurant and you can taste love in every bite you take. This was the place where i best ate in the entire Spain. Looking forward to having dinner at Senderuela really soon.

Puedes montar una buena comida a base de los variados y buenos pinchos de su carta. El local es muy agradable y bien decorado, se encuentra en la plaza de toros de Navalcarnero. Servicio diligente.

We have been there just because our hotel restaurant was closed and we found an excellent restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The suggested food was of good quality. I would like to return. The price too was low compared with the food quality and quantity.

Lunch visit with the family. Nice setting with underground rooms but the food was expensive and poor quality. Almost â¬7 for bog standard desserts. â¬25 for poor quality solomillo which was past its best, dry and fairly tasteless. Just served with a small jacket potatoe and cold green pepper. Eaten but definately not enjoyed. â¬5 for an orange juice. After a week travelling around Spain this was definately the poorest and most dissapointing meal. There was a restaurant we found in the main square later that did a "menu del dia" with solomillo for â¬25 for 3 courses and wine, so i would recommend anyone bypassing this and going there.

Friendly people. Wonderful big steak , sides for menu lunch were so good. It's nice to find a Spanish restaurant with the typical food and also some new flavors. I'm looking forward to coming back!

We had our small unofficial wedding dinner there just for 5 people. As it was Tuesday we were alone in the cueva and there was another dinner on the main floor. We took the set menu and it was absolutely delicious. The quality was outstanding. We drank rose Vida which is our favourite since that day :). Big thank you for the lady who attended us. She even brought us a surprise wedding tiramisu :) We will definitely come back again and again... Highly recommended place!
