Nice, away from city noise, nice parking lot, excellent view, delicious food, perfect service. Good for business lunch, but not only for this. You can have a romantic lunch or dinner too.

We had a lovely comida with some great typical Galician start dishes followed by una parrillada de carnes. Dessert was also delicious - they served a variety of dishes to share so we could taste everything!!

We have had an amazing meal, exquisite prawns and scallopes, awesome burger and the best white chocolate mousse you will ever eat.Whilst we haven't eaten elsewhere I'd still say this is the best place you could eat in Fene. Gracias!

After a very long day we decided to try this restaurant , opposite our hotel. Although 2200, we weren't the only ones there, in fact people came in after us, so nice atmosphere. Very well prepared food. Warning , very generous proportions. Be hungry. Had a very good bottle of wine. All in all a lovely meal for 88 euros.

A popular place in Ferrol for foreigners. Food was good and service was nice. Without asking we were offered to bring the leftovers home, since it was what we have planned.

During my recent Camino, two young concierges at Pazo da Merced outside Neda recommended Mason O Pio and arranged a taxi to get me there. My experience was well worth the cab fare. I looked over the menu with little comprehension and noted no menu del dia. When I asked the proprietor if there was one, he replied no, but he would put one together for me. The result was exceptional and economical. He produced a generous bread serving and what seemed like a massive ensalada rus. Second course was two large cutlets and a generous amount of French fries. All were excellently prepared, including a final postre, a wonderful flan with a whipped cream pyramid. The proprietor was very hospitable. The walls are decorated with small colorful portraits of customers done by a local artist, and the Meson is decorated with regional artifacts. There was a steady stream of locals at the bar. I was the only diner, but it was early in the Spanish evening. The proprietor called my cab, and we had a conversation as well as I could handle outside waiting for its arrival.

I looked for the best in town and - according to Trip Advisor - this is it. I ate a splendid lunch and could not fault it. A fair selection of seafood at good prices, obviously cooked fresh to order. The ham croquettes are excellent.Neither cheap nor expensive - good, fair value.Recommended.

Ok. When my friend asked me how brave I was feeling that night I thought to myself... "Brave?" "In Ferrol?" "You have to be kidding me!!!". We all know each other. We all know EVERYTHING that is going on! Despite my initial reaction, I decided to let my friend decide where we would be dining that night... The car stopped in front of Vanessa. "Here???" I could not believe it! Vanessa is one of those places from the 90s where we used to have ice cream during lazy-Sunday afternoons... Oh boy was I wrong... Dinner started with a small un-promising printed menu. There were approximately 20 small plates ranging from 2 to 10 euros. We ordered almost everything. Soon enough we realized that the chef (and yes, I call him chef), did not match the décor: it was a succulent succession of small delicacies, retaining the usual "tapas" style with a twist... The presentation of the tiny plates which, as bombs of flavor were landing at our table, was imaginative and tasteful. It is a tapas place, after all, but he was able to give delicacy to dishes as popular as cheese and anchovies... I left the place longing for more... Since then, I have visited Vanessa in two more occasions. Each time, I had a pleasant, accommodating experience. I have not met the chef in person yet but, from here, I can only say that he is what a restaurant needs: commitment, enthusiasm, candor and sensibility. All these over a plate of bravas. Please do not miss. I give it 4 stars because of the décor, however, maybe, that is what makes this place so fascinating... I do not know...

El restaurante es pequeño pero tiene su encanto. El dueño además de ser un gran profesional, es muy atento. La carta es variada y la comida está rica. No es una carta del otro mundo, pero la calidad está asegurada. Relación calidad precio adecuada

The food and people are always great, whether lunch, dinner or a quick tapita. It's a little tucked away off the beaten track, but worth it for nice cozy restaurant and bar. Been more times than can count, and never disappoints. Enjoy!!
