In a place of outstanding natural and architectural beauty is our restaurant where you can enjoy excellent cuisine and Spanish Market with strong nods to French cuisine, but always with the end and twist our chef, with proposals ranging fortnightly to sui
Lovely venue, fantastic vistas....however, service and value not for us. No atmosphere, few smiles, a feeling that unless you are ordering a full meal, you shouldn't be there. Free music today, a great band.

This is the place to go for a quick tapas. The variety is larger than most but the seating lets it down. During the evening/fiestas you have to get there early to guarantee a place to sit otherwise standing space only. Can get very noisy - not the place to sit and chat during busy times. Get ready for a crush - not a comfortable experience
I had the lamb chops they were very small and over cooked. The staff tried to make us leave early so they could refill the table. The sweets, my cheese cake was terrible, my wife's chocolate cake was very good. I thought the meal for what we had was expensive by Spanish standards.

The restaurant was full, but the staff worked really efficiently. The selection of food exceptional, all arrived well presented and generous sized portions.Home made desserts as well as selections of ice creams. With the coffee a plate of deliciously moorish donuts.Spend time enjoying the views before you drive back down the winding road. On a clear day you see for miles and then can go round the museum collected artifacts from around North West Murcia.

The best tapas I've tried in Spain. Unbelievably tasty. Such a small place and always busy. Highly recommended

The Restaurant El Olivar, is ranked amongst the best restaurants, selected by the Royal Academy of Gastronomy in Spain by the Guia Repsol, it has been awarded a two SOL, distinction granted by such âManualâ for gourmets, in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015
We went here during a visit to Moratalla and the beautiful mountains in the Murcia Region. As usual Tripadvisor recommendation was correct and as we visited on a Sunday with most other places closed decided to give it a try, we were not disappointed!!The restaurant itself was very pleasant and traditionally decorated. But the quality of the food and service was simply outstanding. Our waiter was attentive but certainly not intrusive, allowing us the time to enjoy our surroundings while ordering our lunch. We chose the menu of the day which was two main courses and a salad plus a dessert - Excellent!Yes the menu is in Spanish and this could be a little worrying (if you don't speak or read the languarge) but my honest advice give it a try and enjoy the experience - let the waiter lead your ordering and you will not be disappointed.Superb and must to visit - highly recommended
