What a delightful couple Matt and Nina are. Welcomed with a northern English Scandinavian warmth, served great home made tapas and mains, plus a good range of drinks. Our evenings were fun from start to finish, very much enhanced by Matt and Nina's bonhomie. Thanks for such a good time.

Been here 3 times the last three years and the food has been great every time. Thereâs always a lot of people there so might be good to book a table in advance. They have a really good Sangria as well. Gracias por contar con nosotros, su satisfaccion es nuestra satisfaccion, esperamos verles pronto de vuelta por esta su casa. Un saludo
Spanish traditional meals, paella and grilled mixed meat, seafood with previous ordering too. Family village atmosfere, popular prices and nice place with cool views.
This a small venta in the middle of the white village of Guaro, only about 30 minutes from Marbella. You can sit and relax and watch the locals go by.Cany as he is known as makes you very welcome and is one of the best cooks in the area. From small tapas of Quail eggs on chorizo or black pudding on toast, to lovely plates of grilled prawns, meat et.
So much choice in Monda, but i fancied a Pizza. This place is more cafe/bar than restaurant, but the menu was quite extensive. The choice of pizza's was so good i found it difficult to choose, would have been happy with any of the best looking 4. Barbeque pizza (400mm) chosen & thoroughly enjoyed. Plus 3 pints. Heaven! Oh & my wife enjoyed her sausage, egg, chips & salad, though i had to help her finish the chips! Plus her juice, only E20.80

The tapas at this restaurant was good and the staff was service-minded and friendly although it took some time before the tapas arrived and they ran out of some ingredients. It was very cheap with good commodities. Can recommend going but serve yourself with patience.

Visited as part of the Jeep tours although I live in Monda and have visited many times. The food is home made and plentiful, the service is typical of bars in the area. My friends loved it and the wine is good!
We have a quite cozy and family restaurant. That I offer you meals from recipes from Grandma, to molecular cuisine, such as smoked in campaign, gelling, foams, esterification, and more. We hope you
After our third visit since Javi began we are very impressed with the food and standard of this restaurant. The pate is delicious as is the duck magret. Also the oxtail and the lamb chops. The meals are beautifully presented and the service is friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning on a regular basis. Only open on Fri. Sat. Sun. Thank you
We stopped for lunch and ended up enjoying a marvellous pizza. Fresh ingredients, fresh base plenty of toppings. Accompanied by a lovely mixed salad it was a perfect lunch sitting in the square in the sunshine. Parking is tricky but there is a small car park not far away.

Cafe Luna is very close to the historical wash house and fountain in Monda. It is in a nice old, atmospheric square. There is a very busy outdoor area, across the street from the restaurant. There is a large choice of tapas and raciones. The portions are big. It is good value. Despite being very busy, our server was was friendly.

This used to be Les Cubes, but all thatâs left of it is the sculpture outside. We went to the newly established D.O. Mar on a Tuesday evening and initially were the only couple there. One other couple entered a bit later. Such a shame as the setting is beautiful overlooking a Beach Club pool onto the sea and palm trees. Interior also lovely. As there were more staff than diners the service was first class. The menu is really fish based with only a few mains for other tastes. We received a bowl of the most delicate crisps we have ever tasted plus a terrine type taster which was very good. We shared a starter of calamari ringsâabout the norm and also a special of whole grilled turbot which was prepared at the table. Apart from the very rubbery outer skin it was well cooked and not overdone. Desert was a bit of a let down but adequate. Price high but fair considering the increase for the whole turbot. My G&T was powerfulâunusual in a high end establishment. Very sad to see the lack of customers but weekends might be better. If not watch for another change of name.
