Small restaurant where you can taste delicious homemade dishes typical of Mallorca , along Iberian products First quality accompanied by a great selection of beers ( over 30 varieties ) and an extensive selection of the best wines from Mallorca , Rioja ,
Popped in for a drink after reading mixed reviews, only had craft beer in bottles not on tap which was disappointing. We also expeienced what another reviwer had written, the two young ladies serving had no idea of the beers on offer and it took a few minutes for them to bring us a menu and at first that was for food. Although when we did look at the drinks memu the prices were on the high side, we had one drink and left.Hello Friend. We prefer not to have draft beer, 7 years ago ... it is our choice. Sorry to disappoint you.Waitresses don't like beer ... aren't we going to force them to drink? in the bottles it says what kind of beer is ... IPA, AMBERALE, PA ALE, BLAT ... etc.Regarding the price of the menu, I don't think you can comment, because you didn't eat and you don't know what the portions are like. So I invite you to come back, try it and then comment.

We visited many restaurants during our stay in Mallorca, but we ended up with staying at Nuevo Garlanda for three consecutive days (could have been more if only our vacation wasn't alredy finished...).This nice little restaurant offers many things we were looking for during our spanish summer holiday: - outdoor tables out of the crowds of Port d'Alcudia promenade and other restaurants nearby (a lovely inner patio is also available, though it was a little bit too warm during our stay)- a cozy atmosphere- a friendly staff (very patient in allowing me practice my limited spanish...)- a good selection of tapas and main dishes (mainly fish-based) well prepared and presented- draught beer in chilled glasses or good sangria at a reasonable price.Apparently, desserts are not home-made, though are delicious indeed (try the "Tarta Fantastica" to believe !!)We will certainly come back the next time we will be in Mallorca !!

I had a really enjoyable experience at this restaurant; me and my partner had dinner here twice while on holiday in Mallorca, as I was drawn in by their vegetarian, namely exciting vegan options on the menu. I'm writing this review since not often are vegetarian restaurants (especially when you additionally can't eat dairy) that easy to find in Spain. Highly recommend this place, the tapas starters (vegan options) were delicious, the vegan chicken Thai curry was also really outstanding. The first time I had the vegan cannelloni, which was nice and such an interesting mix of flavours. My partner also loved the other main meals.

On some web sites, this restaurant is also called Sa Portassa de Ca'n Costa
Reservations are highly recommended. When I arrivef there were only two tables that were not reserved. The tapas were delicious and filling and the service was great. I eould eat there again if given the opportunity!

The architecture of the restaurant is typical of the Mallorcan Middle Ages with high ceilings and arches, while its interior features antiques and museum pieces. Enjoy its menu sitting next to the fireplace in winter or in the courtyard in summer. The res
Could not fault this place. Beautiful surroundings, amazing food! Ordered the bread & olives, mixed pealla (soo tasty & fresh) then the traditional almond cake. Gorgeous restuarant, lovely atmosphere. Attentive staff. Wine delicious. Highly recommend for a traditonal Spanish evening.

A beautiful restaurant with calm atmosphere, lovely service and delicious food. A big plus for a menu in so many languages :)We loved sangria and tapas. And the tasty paella was so huge that 10 hungry people couldn't finish it ;)

I visited the básico gastrobar with my husband and 8 month old daughter after trailing round a few places in Alcudia and finding them all too busy. Although basico didnât have any tables out on the street left we were welcomed in to their restaurant and shown through to their lovely little courtyard. A Highchair was immediately provided and our order taken quickly. Bread was produced in good time too, which we were grateful for with a hangry baby! The staff were so helpful and cheerful and there was enough staff to properly serve the customers. House white wine was delicious. We shared the croquettes for a starter which were very nice especially the vegetable ones and then my husband had the chicken and mushroom risotto which was delicious (and a hit with the baby too), I had the chicken burger which was very good. All in all we had a lovely lunch in a restaurant with nice atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Definitely recommend!

From the service through a three course meal this place is great. It has a small but very cozy terrace. The menu is small as it should be, thatâs a sign that they stick to a few things an do it well. Here are some of the things we ate.For kids, fish nuggets with rice. Croquette with spinach filling. Casa burger, without the bacon and fries. Cod fillet. Forgot picture of the dessert which was tasty as well. The brownie was a little bit dry though. Recommended visit!

Can't rate this place highly enough!! The food is amazing and great value for money. The chef is wonderful at putting dishes together. The tuna tartare and nachos were absolutely gorgeous. This place is spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful time, David and Stephen made us feel so so welcome here. Would consider this place the best Irish pub in Majorca. Music and ambience was so good that we will definitely be returning again when we are back. Our new local away from home.
