Sabrina is the Roman name of a border river between England and Wales. In the Azzurro, Sabrina is the border between Cotillo and Heaven. She knows what to eat, when and how. Potatoes with "mojo picón", grilled octopus, the best fish on the market, grilled tuna, and all this with a Canarian white wine, "Volcano", delicious. Then, the drinks on the terrace, unforgettable. Thanks, Sabrina.

After countless trips to Fuerteventura this was our 1st visit to this restaurant, it won't be the last! After much deliberation chose the sweet black pudding to start, didn't disappoint, Actually brought some back to the apartment to have later!Wife had number 12 which was the prawns and mushrooms in garlic, again, very nice.Main course had to be the mixed grill for 2 at 29 Euros, its mega and the accompanying chilli salt was a good touch. How we managed a dessert (home made crem caramel)after that I will never know....belt was unbuckled on leaving!El Horno has consistently good reviews for a reason, it delivers quality and quantity in a lovely authentic and rustic environment. We will be back!

We booked (a table on the terrace) based on the reviews that weâd read and we looking forward to a great dinner. We arrived and the terrace table now was inside, that didnât matter as it was a bar style table with a huge rusty chain holding a beautiful weathered ornate piece of wood. The interior was pretty cool.Nice and busy with a happy buzzy feeling. We ordered some drinks and then decided what tapas (for the adults) and a main for the kids.Tapas:Fried squidGreen padrons Fried cheese with hamCroquettesGarlic PrawnsPork and potatoes Kids :Sharing a large plate of fried pork and potatoes.3 small baguette came out with 2 mojo sauces. Baguettes were pretty much par cooked bread that you pop in the oven to cook through or reheat - thought it was basic.Tapas... Iâm going to say, pretty average. Not blown away at all. Couldâve been the tapas food that is had recently in the uk (pre made and lobbed in the deep fat fryer.Everything was identical size wise. Perfect round croquettes, exact same triangle for the cheeses.Waited for ages for the kids food.Waited and waited. Asked for it and waited. Asked for the bill and requested that the kids to be cancelled.Within 5 mins,no bill but the kids food came. The waitress was extremely apologetic- she was lovely. Apart from the fact that the kids were moaning as they were starving and they watched us eat our uniform sized (factory made?) tapas, we thought it was highly priced for what it was. I guess the location is the price marker. Really thought it wouldâve been better. The waitress did take the kids food off the bill - very kind, but at that point I think it was too late to turn it around.Went home and had food at home Slightly concerned about writing an honest review as the feedback Iâm about to get from the owner will probably be unpleasant. Iâll brace myself!Hi, Iâm really sorry about your bad experience a our restaurant, we do have a bad day with new staff in both area, kitchen and service. But no excuse for that. Now, regarding our food, everything on a menu are freshly made in our kitchen, the same size balls of chicken croquettes, are made on purpose for the guarantee of the same cooking and hotness inside aswell for there look in the plate. The same work is done regarding the triangle of fuerteventura fresh goat cheese.Iâm deeply sorry for the waiting on a kids plate, I wish you can come back and let us change your experience.Thank you

What a wonderful little restaurant. Not a huge menu choice but an excellent variety. Unfortunately a couple of things unavailable but what we had meant we were not disappointed. The filleted cod was awesome and huge. The tuna cooked to perfection. Didn't come with any carbs so felt we had eaten healthily as well. Service was perfect. Def worth finding it and we will be back.

Iâd heard good reports about a restaurant called La Ballena so, armed with Google Directions, I walked less than ten minutes through El Cotillo to the edge of the village, where the small fort stands.La Ballena opened at six-thirty.Itâs a very small, modern place, all quite âopen planâ.The chef-patron and the pretty waitress greeted me and invited me to sit anywhere. It was a fine, sunny evening, so I opted for a small table outside, overlooking the fort and coastline. This little place is unpretentious in its decor, though the ambiance is agreeable and the warmth of the staff facilitates it all.The menu featured the usual seafood, beef, chicken and so on.The fish, however, comprised John Dory and Cherne.I ordered the Garlic Prawns as a starter: sizzling, juicy, abundant butter and slices of garlic; and a bread roll to soak it all up.It was very good; fair value for â¬6 or so.I more or less stopped drinking in September, 2018, so had a flute of something akin to Buckâs Fizz.Shortly thereafter the main course arrived: John Dory and more prawns, almost floating in a soupy kind of juice, with sliced potatoes, stewed tomato, red pepper. The fish was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed it all.The bread soaked up some of the âsauceâ, though, alas, it simply wasnât to my taste.Iâm not terribly keen on thin sauces, impossible to consume without a soup spoon.Still, as I said, I enjoyed it, and the staff were quite charming.I began a conversation with an ex-pat couple at the adjacent table. They lived in the village and advised me to have a look at the âFuerteventura Forumâ on the Internet.

Booked for lunch on a Saturday as often gets busy . Greeted warmly and offered a choice of table . Great recommendation on a Canarian white wine from our waiter . Beer comes in a frozen glass - thirst quencher. You can pick off menu or specials board . Stand out dish is fish tacos . Fillet steak wonderful and comes with pepper or mushroom sauce . They do an amazing aubergine dish - just try it ! Delightful array of different dishes to suit every taste . The complimentary bread and alioli is exceptional. The other big plus about this place is the VFM . We had 6 dishes between 4 of us which was plenty , 3 beers , water and a great bottle of wine ( 26 Euros ) and total bill was â¬102.

Visited twice over our 2 week holiday. The first visit was fantastic with tasty food and a waitress who went above and beyond her call. The second visit was disappointing with a waiter and waitress who just werenât interested and the food was very oily and salty! The highlight of our second visit was watching the English people on the table next to us shouting at the waiter that they wanted pomme frites and only after the 6th attempt the 2nd woman said french fries the waiter said... oh, chips!

Went here specifically to catch up with our loveky friend Aracelli...Wasnt going to eat but decided to.The food served here is typically canarian and celebrates the goat.I opted for salad and spanish omelette which was filling and my husvand went for the goat stew which he said was delicious.Portions were huge. They were extremely busy with locals and a coach party but the service was great as was the food.Well worth a visit.

We visited here for Sunday lunch in November and were the only people there at first but a couple of other tables did eventually fill up. Lovely location and dining room although lacked a bit in atmosphere, probably due to the lack of people when we visited. Although the portion sizes are small (as others have commented) it was very tasty and we both have small appetites so it was ideal for us for lunch. My partner had the pasta meal with goat - never had goat before but it was lovely. We will definitely return when we visit Lajares in 2018.

Ristorante in Corralejo, incantevole posizione frontemare. Cucina a base di pesce dove potrete incontrare la migliore fusione tra specialità spagnole ed italiane.
We visited on our last night and it was amazing! The food, the service and the setting of the restaurant was beautiful. I would definitely recommend and return. All the food that was being served looked amazing and the owner was really welcoming and friendly. I just wish we had found it before our last night.
