The Sport Bar is a landmark in La Pobla de Segur. In the center of the small town with a huge terrace on the square of the tree. Friendly service and great food
We had a few drinks here late at night with our family (that are based in Poblar). This bar seems to be the central meet point for old and young alike. Service is keen and smiley. Plenty of room to find a table and or chairs.Gracias por la reseña esperamos de nuevo su visita un saludo
We visited RO 7 yesterday with some friends, Louis recommended superb red wine with matching cheese. His collection off wines is very comprehensive and world class. The place is elegant and could easily pass as a modern wine bar in any big city. Itâs an unusual gem in Pobla and highly recommend a visit for an evening
We stopped on our way to Sort. The deck of the place is very nice and modern. We ordered coffees and they were amazing. Friendly staff. If ever near la Pobla de Segur we'll stop here again.

After an action packed weekend full of hiking and various activities it was a truly delightful to seal the trip with this relaxing restaurant right at the banks of the stunning dam.The food was very delicious and I found it to be great value for money considering the quality of the food. The service was great and all staff was very welcoming, which is always nice considering I do not speak Catalan. The restaurant is easily accessible and perfect to also accommodate wheelchairs if needed. This is definitely the place to eat in town!

We had lunch here and chose the three course menu of the day. The choice of dishes and the way they are presented shows that this restaurant, located behind a butcher shop, has bigger ambitions than most Spanish restaurants. But they seem to be so busy doing their own thing that they may make their customers' lives difficult, rather than easy. Some dishes were quite good ; I had the "bacalao" (salted cod) that was really not OK. Portions were quite small too and they made us pay for a second bottle of water (included in the menu) that we ordered ; first time ever in Spain that this happened ! This restaurant probably has quite some potential, but some reflection might be needed.

Restaurant Situated Next To The Rio Noguera Pallaresa With Terrace. Proximity Kitchen. Grilled Meats And Vegetables
We booked in here at our second attempt (its very popular with the locals and tourists alike). We had a table for six in the enclosed part of the terrace. Very pleasant views.I selected the snails as a starter (huge portion : be warned) and the entrecote as a main dish. My wife chose a salad to start (also very sizeable) and the lamb for main.Very good food and very attentive staff. Nice spot and clearly very very popular with all that know it, and all that come to this area.

Our visit worth it! The menu offer 3 dishes and drink for the price of 13Euros. The food was well cooked, the space was cosy, the staff was very friendly and efficient. Definitely, you must go and avoid to go to other places in this town (there overcharged and are open very late). Outside you cant park but near by there are a parking area.

We cook rapidly in order that you eat calmly...
Worst ever pizza I ever had the bread base was burnt toast and had to leave the topping was just edible service was bad the chips came out 35 minutes before the burnt pizza DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE I WISH I NEVER DID please any UK people avoid because you are still expected to pay for the rubbishI'm so sorry that you leave with a bad impression of us. La Pobla is a beautiful place and our restaurant it's very cozy, we always thank our customers for choosing us.We would like your memories to be better. We remember that you asked for papatas bravas while you were deciding what you wanted to eat. We also remember that by first you asked for a pizza and then, when the pizza was already in the table you asked for another one. That's why I don't understand your contemptuous description about the food and your complain for serving late. Anyway I would like you to remember us in a good way. If you come back again we will invite you a pizza, but this time without alcohol because it makes you forget some things.

We were staying nearby and had been walking. Got back late, and the host at our B&B told us there were not many places open for lunch. So he called ahead for us and the restaurant agreed to stay open for us! We had a most delicious lunch with extremely kind host. Recommend the mushroom lasagna and the pork Wellington. A 5 star restaurant in an out of the way place.
