We saw these reviews as we were researching our Piloña visit and oh my, but, it did not disappoint. Itâs a fabulous restaurant, wonderful food and excellent service. Also, really well priced.Itâs not that easy to find, but, make the effort. I promise that itâs so worth it.
This cafeteria is run by David and his brother, Ben. They are ably assisted by waiting staff Julio and Ismael. David is a bonkers Real Madrid fan and he is a larger than life character who really makes you feel welcome. It's the place to go if you want a great Pizza (take away too), a huge burger and chips or, and this is the important bit, the best tortilla de patata in the whole of Asturias. I know that is a bold statement but, in the last thirty years I must have tried the tortilla at a thousand Asturian bars and nothing beats the Ramses. It is firm on the outside but deliciously runny on the inside and has a taste all of its own. At â¬1.10 it is a snip. There are other snacks available, sandwiches, bocatas etc and all are well cooked and good value but, if you are passing through Infiesto, the Ramses has the King of Tortillas and you would be mad not to have it.I thoroughly recommend the Ramses and hope you enjoy your visit.

We turned up really late for lunch (it was at least 3 or 3:30pm) and nevertheless staff attended us without hesitation and were pleasant throughout. We ordered a spectacular mega portion of "patatas tres salsas" (brava, cabrales and alioli), which is quintessentially Asturian and another local delicacy which was roasted onions stuffed with tuna and served with white asparagus. All absolutely brilliant and in a very cosy and rustic (but also immaculately clean) environment.Deffo recommended.Gracias

We stopped there for an afternoon snack after a long walk and were so impressed that we returned for dinner. The restaurant is out of the way on the road between Infiesto and the beautiful Col de Arnicio. It has a small bar and a small adjoining restaurant. We had one of our best Asturian meals, home-cooked by the landlady. We had a plate of chorizo and local strong cheese served with apple jelly, as a starter. We then had a dish of fabada (best on our trip) and melt-in-the-mouth roast goat served with chips. We had arroz con leche for dessert, which was also excellent. We also had two vermouths and two glasses of rose wine. The total bill was 50 euros, which makes this excellent value for money. We tried a few restaurants in this area and this was by far the best. Well worth a visit!

The Casa Xuacu restaurant, an Asturian house in style and tradition, offers you a traditional cuisine with products of the land. This restaurant, located at the exit of the AS-255 (Infiesto-Villaviciosa) towards La Panda, invites you to enjoy its homemade
Last week I visited this restaurant with my couple and a friend. The original idea was to spend five days trying out different restaurants in the Comarca de la Sidra. Casa Xuacu was the first one we tried and the impression was such that we did not want to eat anywhere else. The pote, the fabada, the cod, the lamb stew, the cheesecake, the rice with milk ... incredible!!The place is rustic and traditional, with products of the orchard and its own farm. The food was delicious and the price incredibly economical.Of course we will repeat and recommend it to all our friends.A hidden gem!

We had this restaurant recommended by our hosts at El Gran Sueño and we absolutely loved our lunch of sharing plates. We felt so welcome and there is a good wine list with well priced, good quality wines.Would definitely recommend. Itâs typically Spanish (a bonus for us) so donât be put off by the television and the locals, enjoying their âmenu del diaâ itâs great.

Our family has been eating in Rosales since its opening three years ago in August after reading an article published in La Nueva España. Everything on the menu is excellent, such as the Carlota Salad, named after her granddaughter, the chicken dish accompanied by Asturian potatoes and, of course, the desserts. MarÃa Luisa Gutierrez, the proprietor, has a natural gift with people and you will enjoying talking to her. There is a brand new parking lot now and the drive up from Infiesto, the nearby town, is on a nicely paved road. Take a stroll around the village of Valle as well. The people are very friendly.
