Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in Guayaquil. Founded in the 1530s, Ecuador's largest city and main port is the top access point for Galapagos cruises and home to a bustling import-export business. Tourism is on the rise as well, thanks to a new international airport and urban renewal projects along the River Guayas promenade and in the historic neighborhood of Las Peñas. The 465-step climb to the top of Santa Ana Hill provides sweeping views and a chance to stand on the site of the city's birthplace.

I walked in to find an empty restaurant, which is a bit worrisome, but then I realized I was perhaps too early! The restaurant offers amazingly creative sushi with great taste and presentation. The service was impeccable.

"La tablita del tartaro" is a chain of restaurants. They are premises at north south and in some malls. The food is delicious especially the potatoes which have a delicious taste and the most important is that they are not fried. I went to the shop at riocentro norte but I had to wait almost 20 minutes to be served and I was the only client in that moment so that was something inconvenient, but the food is really delicious

Decor can best be described in other reviews. Service is at best adequate even when the restaurant is empty. However, with that being said. The food is outstanding, served piping hot, very tasty, and large portions. Price is $$$$ for Chinese. If you want cheaper, just drive a mile further down towards Miraflores.

Peruvian gourmet cousine specialized in seafood.
If you like ceviches and tiraditos this place is perfect for that. They also have lots of great seafood dishes. Their food is always fresh, their service is good. Great for a business lunch.

6 dollars for a small bottle of Heineken, 10 dollars for 5 slices of salami. Beers are not on the menu so I assume prices are set according to the customer. Not worth your time.

We ate dinner there twice, once by coincidence on Valentineâs Day and it was interesting to see that the Ecuador customs were similar to Australia â wandering musicians, couples, ladies with roses, etc.The restaurant was crowded, so understandably, the service took a while, but good. The food was excellent (I am still coming to grips with the large servings with a huge meat focus in South America). My wifeâs braised steak with eggs, salad, rice and fries with a tasty tomato sauce was huge and delicious â she said. There are not many restaurants in this location, so we returned the next night.I ordered the same steak dish (Churresco) and was not disappointed but the service was shocking, in a half empty restaurant. They had run out of vino blanco and our order was mixed up.This is part of Unipark hotel - what sort of hotel is completely out of white wine?!

Contemporary ecuadorian cuisine restaurant with a casual environment and seasonal dishes located at one of the most beautiful places of the city.
We enjoyed tapas in this restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. They patiently answered our questions regarding the menu. All dishes were perfectly prepared. We enjoyed the stone crab claw in coconut sauce, hamburger sliders, chicken empanada, pork belly sliders and crab claw with rice coconut. Portions were just right for two. Cocktails were well balanced. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the nice breeze and views of the plaza. Service was excellent. Staff were attentive and did their very best to accommodate us.
