Writers and poets have long flourished in arts-oriented Cuenca, the country's third-largest city and the capital of the Azuay province. Cafes and galleries are tucked among the narrow cobblestone streets. The main plaza hosts both the old cathedral, started in 1557, the year the city was founded, and the blue-domed Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, dating to 1885. Locally made Panama hats get top billing at the markets, with centrally located Casa de la Mujer a shopping standout.

Small, cozy spot, unpretentious. Lots of El Santo paraphernalia and Spiderman was playing on the movie channel. Ice cold beer. Burrito was very flavourful. I had three small tapas, the veg quesadilla was very good, the chicken taco was nicely spiced and I can't remember name of third item. Fast, friendly service, but didn't feel rushed. Good prices. Will be back.

Un pedazo de España, en Cuenca ( Ecuador ). Trabajamos por con un repertorio amplio de recetas españolas con nuestro plato estrella, la paella. Con menús al medio dia. Y música en directo, jueves, viernes..
We were charged $25 for a meal with a musical performance. It was a great performance but the meal consisted of rubbery beef which we could not swallow, and the "sangria" was little more than lemonade with a splash of red wine. It was pretty horrifying food. I have also gone for their lunches and found them to be rip offs compared to other restaurants. I'm not sure why the kitchen here is under performing. However the building itself and the music are great.¿ que dÃa asistio a nuestro local ? Gracias

We understand that the restaurant has a spectacular ocean view but it cannot be seen at night. Nevertheless the restaurant building and the entrance are quite spectacular. We found the tables inside, at least the ones in the area where we were seated, too crowded together, which detracted significantly from the three star experience. We managed to strike a conversation with the guests in the table next to us and the server served with difficulty. Service was a notch below expected. There was a wait between dishes and for the bill. Perhaps all f this dimmed our interest in the food, which we felt was also a notch below.Dear, Sorry but it seems you are a bit confused. We are located in Cuenca - Ecuador a beautiful city in the Andes. And we serve Mediterranean cuisine. Visit us, Regards,

The Zircus Lounge and Restaurant in the 360 Hotel is superb. Great breakfast buffet that offers a good range of fruits, juices, cereals, eggs, and traditional Ecuadorian fare and it varies day to day. Brunch and dinners are delicious and won't break the bank. I thoroughly enjoyed their paper thin slices of veal with fresh veggies. The staff speaks very good English, which they seemed to prefer while we tried to increase our Spanish. We enjoyed their food and services so much that we ate there rather than the hotel where we were staying. Will definitely go back there when we return to Cuenca next year.

Set on a quiet street not too far from hotel Zahir 360, this large restaurant's specialty is grilled meats (beef, chicken, sausage, etc.). The smallest size of mixed grilled meats is large enough for 2 people to share. The menu also has pastas. During the weekdays, a cafeteria style lunch can be found here.
At Loreto empanadas we offer you excellent quality food. The key to our taste is simple. Artisanal elaboration, dough with a unique flavor, filling of several flavors, fresh ingredients and a lot of love for what we do. We are proud to serve authentic Arg
Very good oven-cooked empanadas, with 8 different flavors. We tried 5 of them thanks to a good combo (6 empanadas + 2 juices at 6,25$) and they were all tasty. Miguel is very welcoming and nice. Hello Juliette thank you for coming by. We are really happy to know you enjoyed our combo

We are a restaurant and a cultural place, specializes in gourmet burgers We also have Paella Valenciana as our specialties. In the menu we also have salads, cheese and charcuterie boards , tapas, teppan , etc ..
great place to chill, have a beer or coffee in the afternoon, has wifi, garden and interior. food, although it has a big menu is very overpriced and nothing over the top. usually, they are bands from all genres and parties from Wednesday to Saturday evenings to bear in mind the crowd or extra cover, in events the ambience is great. drinks are overpriced as well, just go for the gin and beer :) tortilla española is actually the only well-priced item and being owned by Spaniards is always a sure bet.
