I was visiting with some friends after asking local people where to eat a good cachopo. Among the few places I was given, I chose this one and was actually a very tasty and large cachopo (unfortunately we ate it before taking a picture). We also tried a "carrillera" (mix) of grilled meat and everything was very good. If you must choose a single dish, I would go for a cachopo. Quality and quantity vs. price ratio is very high.

Good value for the money. Menu stays the same. Cachopo, cured ham and local cheese between thin meat slices then breaded and fried, is very tasty. Pig/beef cheeks are also good here. Lengua, tongue, was delicious. Typical for Spain dishes come with chips (French fries) and no vegetables so we always order a salad. The house salad was enough for six of us as a side dish.

Had a meal here tonight consisting of the local dish Fadaba . It was excellent. Had bread and two glasses of good wine cost â¬20. The place is imaculate and the service was very good. In all a good stop.

Wow!!!! We drove out of our way by about 90 minutes to make our way to this restaurant ... which brings new meaning to "the middle of nowhere". The drive and anticipation are worth it as you literally end your journey on a dirt road that leads to this food oasis. Impossible to understand bad reviews, as the service was excellent, food is a show of the area's best cuisine, and the surroundings are unmatchable. A place like this just could not exist in the U.S.We had to try the famous Arroz con Pitu (Rice with Chicken) and it did not disappoint. Coupled with the Tortos Variados, selection of Croquetas, and amazing amazing Creme of Bechamel ... every flavor perfectly complemented each other. Our only disappointment is that we were not able to try more (because we were so full!) ... but more the reason to make our way back. This place is busy - so you must make a reservation. Come with an empty stomach!

Casa Pedro has been traditionally the place to visit when you want to experience one of the best and most authentic gastronomic experience in northern Spain. Since they opened back in the 80's, Yoli has been cooking the most amazing stews in the region. I
A couple km west of town on a small road. Probably our favorite bread. Complementary spread of mejillones with guacamole. Loved the guac but Iâm not a big fan of mejillones. Ordered the grilled artichoke appetizer which was very tasty. We shared 2 different fishes for entrees Hake and sea bass. Thought they were both terrific. Service excellent.Muchas gracias por elegirnos! Es un placer para nosotros saber que os vais encantados de nuestro restaurante

We came here for dinner. The food was awesome!!! We had the chicken soup and beef and potato soup for starters, they were both brilliant and huge. For main dishes - the grilled fish were excellent too. Best value for money for sure. The service was super fast and professional.

Great local unpretentious place/people. I certainly recommend the food unless you are vegan/vegetarian. If you are hungry I recommend the Cachopo and if you are sharing dishes also order the Fabada...both are THE regional dishes and are good at this place. Itâs a family runned establishment and they treat you well...I want to go back soon.

I can't say anything bad about this place, its small, its charming and its very Spanish! The food is good and the price even better. I can't not mention the waiter, defiantly it's been a while, since I meet some character like him! Defiantly a place worth to stop if you are looking for that kind of dinner setting. + The best chocolate cake I ever have!

Tuesday 28 May, Dinner. We are the only 2 diners. Starter of clams (almejas) - Euro 28. Main of 'kingfish' (Rey) - Euro 72.As with the Emperors New Clothes, a reality check is needed here. This is crude un-adorned cooking being sold at grossly inflated prices. One example of a far better bet is Sibariz where you get refined cuisine at less cost.
