We were passing by Berga a sunday night, looking for a place to have a good and quick dinner so to come back to the road right after. We were amused by the comments and ratings for this place so we quickly decided to go for it... unfortunately our expectations were too high.Still, to be fair, service was very good and very fast; most of the tapas were very good as well (patatas bravas, pimientos padron, prawn lollipops,..) but definitely not huge at all for the price you pay and some are definitely overpriced. I.e. octupus "a la Gallega" is not as good as others say -just good enough- and it is too expensive (17â¬!!!) for the quantity you get.May be this was the wrong night to go there. The town of Berga wasn't at all enticing - in fact I felt quite insecure driving through it. This hotel is about 18k the other side and was a pleasant surprise. Very quaint. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The room was very dark and there was no air conditioning so it wasn't particulalry comfortable. The restaurant was nice, food delicious, wine very cheap. Tip - buy the house wine by the glass

We needed a Resturant like this in Berga. This is the successor of restaurant Sala and they have done something difficult; improve their standards. Excellent quality

Visited for the 2nd time and the food was still as good. Service was excellent, however none of us speak Spanish so google translate came in handy. All the dishes we had were good, the steak was amazing!!!.The spirit measures were also amazing, will definitely return next time we are in Berga.

I've stopped over with my family, in our journey from La Cerdanya to Barcelona. We wanted to come before but didn't have the chance...The service has been a little slow, 'cause the restaurant was full. But the waiters are thoughtful and pleasant. The food was good, but not impressive and I think that it is quite expensive for a daily menu, specially the kids menu: just 2,5⬠less than the adults one, for a typical macaroni&chicken nuggets.

Very efficient service and a good price for menu del dia. Some of the courses are better than others with more attention to preparation. It was an OK location for lunch, a little too hot inside but acceptable for a quick Saturday lunch.Thank you very much for your visit, it was a pleasure to serve you, we hope to see you soon.

A meal in this restaurant was the gift from my wife for my 55th birthday, and she hit the nail in the head, I must say. We took the 12 courses tasting menu and we were to tally satisfied with our choice. No one course to critisize, but a couple of them were outstanding: the flounder with molten iberian ham and specially the sirloin treated like a roast beef and foie gras... delicious! Obviouly I cannot comment on price, but sure it's worth for a special occasion.
