Discover Restaurants offering the best Spanish food in Banos, Tungurahua Province, Ecuador. Normally, one wouldn’t equate "relaxing spa vacation" with "hanging out near an active volcano," but if you’re up for something more exotic than facials and massages, Banos might be the perfect place for you. The thermal mineral pools here are heated by the volcano, and while there are several, offering different amenities, the easiest one to visit is Las Piscinas de la Virgen. Banos also has plenty of outdoor activities, like rafting and biking on scenic paths.

Fomos bem recebidos. E tudo que tem no cardápio parece ser bom e bem servido. Pedimos risoto e frutos do mar. Tem carnes tbm e parecem ser excelentes! Valeu a pena! Custo benefÃcio! Bom preço. Pra quem não esta com muita fome, dá pra dividir um prato.
Best bbq in town!! Smoked ribs, wings, chicken quarters, salmón homemade BBQ sauce and more. Steaks on the grill and stone, cajun food, desserts and local food.
First of all none of the âcarnesâ on the menu was available. So we were reduced to selecting chicken too fancy to be good in this neighborhood along the highway and a âmonster burgerâ with velveeta cheese, mushrooms and bacon.Drinks took 20-25 minutes to get to the table. The food took nearly an hour. And it wasnât worth the wait.No idea what was going on here. The air outside smelled of wonderful bar-b-que. but we didnât get it or see it.Thanks for sharing your comments. It is very important that we learn about your experience with us; Only then we can improve our services and details so in future the experiences are even better. But I think the day after this, you really enjoy the food.

Not just Spanish food, but BASQUE food--these are among the world's greatest cooks, and the owner faithfully reproduces some of their finest offerings. Perhaps the food wouldn't rate at the top in Bilbao, but for Ecuador it's really outstanding. Currently they seem under-patronized, thus a bit low on atmosphere, but given how overcrowded other places in Baños can get, this is in many ways a good thing. They do have a more or less full bar, an unusual perk for Ecuador.

We've eaten at the Quinta Gama several times, and the food is just really good - it's made from the freshest ingredients, and the lasagna and spaghettis are some of the best I've ever had. Food is lovingly prepared from scratch, so you would have to wait a while for service. At times, when the restaurant gets busy, the staff cannot keep up, but the food is so good that I just ignore the slow service issue. The atmosphere is serene, and they play lovely music.

Nünna means "SPIRIT" in kichwa We love our own, thatâs why we fusion the Ecuadorian with the internacional, the new and the old. Here the party doesnât stop! We apply good cooking practices with organic products from local communities.
We went to this restaurant while visiting Baños, Ecuador. First of all, the place itself, is well designed, with a mixture of contemporary and folkloric decore.Second, the service provided by David Sanchez was outstanding. He had broad knowledge of the menu and was able to explain each dish.Lastly, the chefs Tony Montaña and Gabriel Roman were able to fuse flavors and push boundaries with tastes in every dish.Kudos to the entire team and we highly recommend.Kathy and Gabe from NY

Mestizart Ecuadorian Restaurant offers and incredible ambiance, gracious service and tasty ecuadorian food in the central park of Banos Ecuador. Ecuadorian cuisine is inspired by the culture and traditions of our people, where local art is combined with l
We picked this restaurant out because we really wanted to try cuy (guinea pig) while in Ecuador. The traditional preparation at this restaurant was with a peanut sauce, so I was nervous about dealing with a nut allergy here, but using an allergy card and "sin mani" had no issues at all. They brought out the cuy without the peanut sauce. We also were able to try a half order of cuy, which was less wasteful as I don't know if we'd have finished a whole one.Despite not loving the cuy, the other Ecuadorian foods we ordered were very good - locro de papa soup and yuca with guacamole. We were able to sit outside and overlook the park and some of the main streets of Banos de Agua Santa, which made our lunch even more enjoyable.

Mediterranean food with a local touch, draught microbrews, gourmet coffee and desserts
This review from a (TOP TA CONTRIBUTOR) is an honest representation of the OVERALL experience. Many of the places I've visited over the last few years in south america have family members involved AND present in their operation. There is NO management or ownership on site here. Therefore no co-ordination of waitstaff and kitchen. Many places will blame a "Gringo language barrier" which would be understandable if my Ecuadorian GF wasn't with me. The food was creative, fresh, and well prepared! Everthing else, especially the ENTIRE waitstaff was below average stands. As noted in other reviews, an unacceptable 2hours late afternoon (half full restaurant)Experience. TRY ANOTHER PLACE !

La Tasca is the first Spanish restaurant in Baños, where you can enjoy delicious paella or an excellent choice of tapas, all with an authentic Spanish flavor. You will be served by the owners in a good atmosphere.
La Tasca is a quaint restaurant offering great authentic Spanish cuisine and delightful wine. The owner is polyglot with a great personality making the ambiance a very interesting and enjoyable one. We ordered several tapas dishes, all of them were very good, some tastier than others. Anyone seeking authentic Spanish cuisine, La Tasca is a great choice.Thank you for very much for your visit.
