Reviews on Southwestern food in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Scottsdale has more spas per capita than any other city in the U.S.—so whether you’re looking for the latest medi-spa technology or a new-agey, bohemian vibe, there’s sure to be something for you. It's a good thing, too—after spending all day touring the beautiful desert, you'll be grateful for some pampering.

Expected a typical, traditional Mexican restaurant, especially located in Old Town Scottsdale, however this is your modern, American slant on Mexican food which is ok for some I guess.Drink choices are plenty and I do recommend their Margaritas where they do not shirk on the alcohol. We had a couple of different ones each, I particularly liked the mango flavour.Food wise the menu isnât extensive and essentially itâs tacoâs, fajitas or enchiladas. We both went for tacos having two each with different fillings. These came with beans- refried or black and rice. The food was ok, nothing special and it wasnât massive portions with minimal meat. You would get a lot more in a traditional Mexican for the price you pay. Price wise it worked out to $66 but that was 4 margaritas and the food.Overall ok just uninspiring.

We stopped here for an early dinner and really enjoyed the short rib tacos. We were inside because we are from out of town and not used to the heat. The patio outside looked really nice, maybe if we are here in the winter next time we can try that. Our server Kara was really nice as well. Do not miss the home made cookies on the way out! Delish!

Best Mexican Soul Food in Arizona. Unique flavors of authentic Mexico City dishes. One of the Top Five largest Tequileria in United States.
We love authentic Mexican food and consider ourselves âfoodiesâ. Barrio Queen was one of the BEST meals we have ever eaten. Our server, David, was extremely helpful and friendly , without being pushy at all. The chips and salsa are fresh and amazing. My husband had the mango Fresca which was delicious and I enjoyed the tasty house margaritas. Hubby had the chiliâs en nogada.... absolutely delicious, so different from anything weâd ever eaten. I picked the award winning conchinita pibil. WOW!! It was the best tasting pork we have ever eaten. So moist and flavorful, and not a bit of fat. We both enjoyed the dish and took home 1/2 for tomorrow. To top off this incredible meal we shared the chocolate cake. On a huge bed of vanilla bean ice cream the cake came with a mini pitcher of the most Amazing homemade chocolate/cinnamon sauce. OUTSTANDING!Thank you to the wonderful staff and cooks for an amazing experience!Hello LoveTravelOrlando_FL for your awesome review. We love to hear that you enjoyed are food and drinks. Very friendly staff. So many menu choices to pick from and all of them looked great. Many different margaritas and cocktails to choose from. Fresh veggies and tortillas, loved the guacamole too. Family friendly and looked like a great place for a crowd. Would go again if I come back.

We enjoyed two breakfasts at Proof. The ambiance is sensational - rustic and elegant at the same time with fantastic views. We tried everything from pancakes and omelets to fantastic breads and toast. The chocolate chip cookies were wonderful and they served the best OJ we ever had.Kudos to an amazing staff. Shout out to chefs Phil and Nate and our waitress, Allie. She did everything to please and even kept my coffee hot by using steamed milk. Just such a beautiful place whether you eat inside or outside with the gorgeous views. Hope to return some day.

Gather your family and friends at the Rita's Cantina & Bar. Enjoy a drink at the one of the finest hotels in Scottsdale, Arizona.
We stayed at the JW Marriot and enjoyed Ritaâs a few times. We found the service consistent and helpful. Our lunch & dinner meals were very good, seasoned, tasty, priced well and sized appropriately. At breakfast, we ordered the Continental Buffet Twice and were quite disappointed with the minimal selection. The ambience is quite quiet. There was plenty of seating; however the chairs arenât the most comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent dining experience especially with the Continental Buffet. I will share your feedback with our restaurant manager and Executive Chef. Your feedback allows us to improve on the quality of products and service we provide our guests.Once again, thank you for your feedback and we look forward to serving you on a future visit to Scottsdale.Warm regards,

Uncover Scottsdale's top-rated Mexican restaurant at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, and indulge in a delectable paradise of fresh, modern Mexican cuisine. Richard Sandoval brings the vibrant flavors and ingredients of Mexico into the culinary spotlight
Came to Scottsdale for a national certification. Decided to stay at the Fairmont princess. Gorgeous grounds. Found La Hacienda on our first night and ended up eating there all three nights having something different each night. The food was superb from the appetizers to the main course everything so delish we wanted to lick the plates literally. For desert try the house made churros... light and fluffy with chocolate dipping sauce. The cocktails were delish too. Our server Sean Kelly every night was amazing... professional and very knowledgeable about the menu. Was spot on with all recommendations.Dear Gaylene C,Thank you for sharing your review of La Hacienda. You've nailed it! From our smoked adobo chicken with crema and barbecued sea bass to our slow-braised pork carnitas with sweet corn and habanero, our menu will have you wanting to come back for more. We can't wait to welcome you back for another flawless experience â and feel free to lick the plates â we won't judge!Sincerely,Katie JohnsonDigital Communications Manager

Old Town Scottsdaleâs heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central Amer
Unfortunately I do not eat much âheatâ and the Peruvian Stew was very hot so our server recommended the Mahi tacos. I ordered fish grilled and although cooked well the portions was more appropriate for appetizers and not a meal with minimal seasoning. The tacos are advertised as fried and come out twice the size so there must be a lot of batter. I would not order again. My husband, who is able to eat spicy food, had the stew and it was too hot for him. He ate the fish but left the rest. The yuca bread was okay. The guacamole looked fantastic and I would recommend based on everyoneâs response. It might have made my tacos more flavorful. Enjoyed seating outdoors in back patio.

Blue Adobe is highly rated on TripAdvisor and didnât disappoint. Taco Tuesday is a great deal at $8.99 for 2 great tacos (I had shredded beef and crab cake, wife had mahi and pork). Also beans and rice. We also had the lobster con queso. Lighten up margarita and negro models. Everything was excellent. Wife loved the pork, which is not her usual. Will be back. Service was very friendly.

Really like this place. Especially, the wood flavor in their grilled items. Our waitress Tania was super friendly and attentive. I had the chicken tortilla soup, the bacon wrapped filet, and the creme brûlée. The restaurant is located in an office building which could be a bit hard to find, but worth getting lost for the first time.
