Visited this restaurant for Dinner and It was an amazing experience starting from the free slice of focaccia which is one of the best I've had in ages, we decided to skip the starters and shared a tagliata di manzo which was devine. My Daughter had a Margherita pizza .We had the imqaret for dessert and mini doghnuts. Everything was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended and reasonably priced. Will visit again!Service was attentive and good, which is getting hard to find these days. Parking in the same street at the George hotel (not free but convenient)

After initially passing it several times because it was always full we eventually came across a vacant table.Wow the cakes are delicious, a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Everything is made at the shop with fresh ingredients.The home made ice cream is the best I've tasted, the coffee is great and the Berry and pistachio cheese cakes are superb.It is a family run business and the staff are both friendly and helpful when trying to choose from the many delicious cakes. Special mention for Denista who recommended the pistachio cheese cake which is my favourite.

We were so thankful to go to Salvino's as part of our trip. We ate in a few different places, but none were as good as Salvino's, by far. The keyword here is fresh. They strive to cook only with fresh ingredients and this you can absolutely taste on their meals. For example, even the fried calamari was one of the best we ever had in our lives, which is a dish you can't tweak in too many ways.For the main course, we had the daily special, which was also absolutely delicious.When looking at the service, it was very friendly and easygoing. We really appreciated the more laid-back style, while being fully focused on covering all of our needs.The decoration is the only element which is a bit more simple/classic (nothing extra), but meh, with everything else you get, this is absolutely no problem. Especially since the restaurant is in a prime location already.So don't be one of the many people that got sent away while trying to get a table - reserve a place, come and enjoy :)

Great staff, very friendly, happy and helpful - 10 out of 10. Thatâs where it ends. Pasta with sword fish not too bad, quite flavoursome but only average , definitely not more than a 3 star. Grilled fish platter, well for 30 euros I was expecting something quite special. Tuna slightly over cooked, sword fish definitely over cooked, the 2 large prawns and sea bream were moist and quite tasty, salmon boring. I feel bad because the staff were so lovely but Noooo, I wonât be back and would not recommend, donât believe everything you read on trip advisor

Worst staff and service. So rude and not a nice experience. Canât recommend this one. The need to me more service minded and nice to the costumer if they want them back. Read the reviews and chanced an early visit without booking. Plenty of tables available but did get busy quickly.We shared the white bait fritters to start and they were delicious, good sized portion too.The tuna steak was huge and the best I have ever had, perfectly cooked with a nice pink middle.My wife had the seafood ravioli which had more seafood on top than you would ever get in the UK.Add a bootle of red for â¬14 and we had an exceptional meal for two for â¬60.I will be back this week as I want the fried fish starter to share, which looked amazing.

My wife and I re-visited this restaurant for dinner. We shared the most tender carpaccio di polipo and my wife then had a lovely pasta allo scoglio while I ordered swordfish all' acqua pazza. The portions were most generous and the sauces were to die for. All this was washed down with a white Sicilian Catarratto. We ended the dinner with a cannolo (for me) and a pistacchio semi-freddo (for my wife). All for 80 Euros.No wonder the place was completely full with clients queuing outside for tables to become available.This restaurant is a must to visit BUT do make a reservation.

I bought lunch for myself and two friends here. I came due to the high rating on Trip Advisor, but it wasn't cheap and tasted garbo.There's way better food nearby. Wouldn't recommend.Also the owners have a witty comment to make about every negative review telling them how wrong they are. Really authentic Italian food. Great service and a nice location on the side of the street with outdoor and indoor dining. Lots of seafood options, including fresh lobster linguine. Highlights for us included the carbonara, the pizza Napoli and the dough and seaweed balls with tempura vegetables.
