The best bruschetta I ever had! Service was phenomenal. Family owned and operated. This place is a jewel. It is a hike to get up there probably 45 minutes, but is so worth-it. You have an amazing breathtaking view. You have two view points one through the restaurant and the second one next to the restaurant building. Best food, best service best view! Wear comfortable hiking shoes.

They certainly do have the terrible staples of tourist food (such as pølser, fries and the terrible spaghetti bolognese). However, they also have a solid choice of fresh fish, prepared according to the genuine tradition. Everyday they serve a different pasta dish: one day we had a home made pasta with little octopus sauce. We enjoyed gnocchi, and the classic spaghetti alle vongole. Good choice of antipasti and a few selection of fishes as main course. We really enjoyed it.

Top choice if you would like to feel thoroughly spoiled. The presentation of the food was beautiful but more importantly it was also delicious. We just ordered a primo (occhi di lupo con crema di zucchine), but greatly appreciated the homemade bread selection and sweet treat at the end we were also served. Most of all, though, we were bowled over by the service - wonderfully attentive and kind staff. Extra special thanks to the maitre who ingeniously fashioned an ice-pack by vacuum-packing ice for us to take back to our hotel as I had swollen ankle. What more can I say? We hope to come on holiday to Ischia again just to return here!

Swam to shore through beautiful clear water and floating sunloungers, ate delicious arancini of melanzane, tartares di ricciola, gamberi rossi, e tuna, delicious paccheri and spaghetti, washed down with very nice Ischia wine Frassitelli. Plenty of ice about. Staff friendly and helpful and glad we were there. Go have a great lunch and admire the castello Aragonese

Great quality of food. Everything tasted wonderful. The choices are limited but whatever you choose should be very tasty. We had the antipasto, pasta dishes and grilled meats. All good! Itâs a little difficult to reach and the ride from their little shuttle is quite entertaining given the extremely steep hill. Wonderful view once you arrive. Definitely recommend. Also we sat outside and it even rained, we were kept dry by their awning.

Absolutely fabulous food, right on the beach, along with excellent, local wine served by a very knowledgeable owner. The owner, waitor and chef all very welcoming and friendly. I had tiny little, light as air dumplings with plump fresh muscles - heavenly!! Husband had linguine with octopus and squid, freshly caught that day, in a spicy tomato sauce. Mopped up the sauce with gorgeous, crusty chewy bread. This is a small, intimate restaurant, very relaxed atmosphere, expect to wait for excellent food that is cooked freshly for you, using local ingredients. We will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends who visit this magical island

Imaginative, artistically created and deliciously prepared dishes in a setting surrounded by beautiful gardens. The fish, the pasta and the vegetables all transformed into unique presentations that are a delight to view and taste. The service staff is friendly and aims to please. The wine list is pleasantly overwhelming. Be sure to order a Dani Maison signature dessert too. This place is very special and among the best dining you could ever have the pleasure of experiencing.

We managed to get a table for two at relatively late notice and felt fortunate throughout. We had lovely house white wine (eur8 approx for 1/2 bottle) and three different fish dishes (fried sea bass a particular favourite)Although the entrance could put you off, it really shouldnât once you walk downstairs and meet the team.

This was the most disappointing meal we had in Naples. The food wasnât bad. It just wasnât up to the standards weâve been spoilt it in Naples. The highlights: â Eggplant Parmesan. This was very good. The highlight of the meal. â Spaghetti with clams. This was decent but not great. I really like the el dente cooked pasta in general in Italian restaurants but this was really too undercooked.â Gnocchi with tomato sauce: This is something we could have easily had In the US. The tomato sauce was nothing special and certainly not the high quality typically available in Naples. â Pizza with tomatoes four different types. Our pasta itâs artisanal and, as every kind of artistanal pasta, is imperfect unlike the industrial ones and probably the perception you had itâs due to the amid that this kind of pasta releases during cooking time and of course industrial kind of pasta does not have this amount of amid released. About the pizza. We make pizza with the best raw materials and we use fresh and seasonal tomatoes. About the gnocchi. We are very happy to read that in the USA you have good gnocchi as we have!
