Long work week, I wanted to be spoiled, but I was staying in San Jose Centro when normally stay close to La Sabana...anyways, take my chances to look for a good place around...get into a couple of "fine" restaurants but didn't feel welcome, until I got to La 10, waiter Junior was very friendly and help full at the moment of going through the menu...Food is serve hot from the grill to your table, nice wine and good prices....when I am back next month I'll definitely will come back. I stayed in this hotel for a week and I spend hours everyday at the Zambra Bar because the environment is great, live music every night, you just can't beat that, bartenders treat you like family. Shout out's go to Jonathan, Randall, Chris, Javi, Maureen, Marianella and Anna. Great staff!! Drinks were spot on!! Positives: Fantastic, creative, colorful asian fusion food! Love the Thai Tom Yum soup with shrimp and Vietnamese shrimp and rice dish. Great ambiance music at good level for talking. Good decor, lighting and variety of food and drink. Negatives: The white sangria was good but was filled with ice that completely watered down the drink. I would recommend serving it cold with no ice. As the customer drinks it, bring over a little bowl of ice the customer can add as needed. The staff is nice but forgetful and not good at taking the initiative. For example: they forgot about the water, never checked to see how our food was or to ask if we wanted dessert or another round a drinks. Starting at 10:30pm when the place cleared out, they seemed more interested in cleaning than attending to the customers since the rush was over. The staff brought over the cheesecake dessert without utensils or a candle despite I mentioned it was her birthday "La Cumpleañera" a few times that night. It would have been a nice gesture for them to bring over a complimentary dessert with a candle since we were there enjoying ourselves. I had to flag down the waitress to ask if they had any desserts and then when she brought it over ask her if they had a candle. Those are the little detailed that they could work on but, I'll definitely be back because of the food, ambiance and music.

We were treated to an incredible, one-of-a-kind dinner by the owner of the place! He explained the mode of preparation for the sausages that are the focus of this fancy fast food joint -- very simple, hand- and home-made -- and suggested specific wine pairings for each one. I usually don't eat processed meat, but broke my rule here and ate two: the chef's selection, and a second spicy offering. The chef's selection came with a medium-bodied Chilean Malbec and the spicy with Pinotage, and both pairings were perfect. As we ate, we took in the decor, crafted by an award-winning architectural team. I have definitely never had such an incredible combination of food, ambience, and service. 6/5.WOW! Thanks for your comments... but the most, for enjoing the Bò_Xperience! Cheers!

We so enjoyed our meal on our first night in Costa Rica that we returned when we were back in San Jose. The rump steak was excellent - really flavorful - and prices were reasonable. There were a variety of size steaks which is perfect if you don't have a huge appetite. The service was fast and friendly.

This is a great little restaurant, family owned and operated. Pure Argentina. The best empanadas I have had. Home made ravioli and sauce is delicious, home made dough for the pizza and the steaks are great! Try the Bife De Chorizo which is a New York Strip here. The chimichurri sauce is home made and is fantastic on everything.We bought a jar to go. Must have the homemade Alfajores for desert. It is a traditional Argentinian fat cookie that is delicious!

We've been visiting this place since it was recently opened. Since then, we have experienced it's evolution and growth and have witnessed how it is getting better every day. The place is a beautifully and cleverly decorated vintage home, which is warm and inviting. Lunch/Dinner menu doesn't have many options, instead they usually change the plates by the day, and focus instead on providing a few options, but all well-crafted and tasty, so you can't go wrong. Staff is friendly as well as the chef, who would usually come greet and ask about how are things. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go for coffee or dessert, as the pastry options are world-class and delicious. Price is moderate but it is definetly worth it. They have special "events" during the weekends, for example on Fridays they would close late, have wine, sangrias, beer, pizzas, and a live pianist jazzing up the atmosphere. On weekends you can also go for breakfast/brunch there and also be delighted by french toast, pancakes or just traditional gallo pinto or omellettes. We like this place so much that we usually bring our friends to eat here whenever we can. Make sure you add them on Instagram to find out the dailiy options of food and pastry!
