Find out what South American restaurants to try in Quepos. Quepos, a small town in Puntarenas province, is located on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast and is undoubtedly one of the best places in the world for big game sport fishing. However, Quepos also offers vacationers a wealth of other activities to do as well. The nearby plaza has many fine restaurants, art galleries and souvenir shops, most within a short walking distance of your beachfront vacation rental. Book an exhilarating canopy tour, go horseback riding, kayaking and rafting. Learn to surf or watch the surfers ride the waves; you’ll wonder at their athleticism.

My family dined here a week ago while on vacation. The food was delicious but the service was exceptional. They have a nice view and we enjoyed our experience. The complimentary coconut after-dinner aperitif was a nice touch. Our bar captain is particularly proud of his special touches such as after dinner aperitif! What you have experienced was our tight family like operations. We are a happy group of people who care for Mango Moon hotel and Vista Luna restaurant as their own. Your attribute is a great validation for all of our staffs and Iâll be gladly sharing with them.Thank you for reaving a review!

The set up of La Canina is nice, you feel like you are in the jungle. We actually saw some howler monkeys just before dinner. Unfortunately we were not very pleased with the food and it was over priced. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes.

Went back multiple times, the food is great value and tastes fantastic. It is the closest to authentic Costa Rican food in Manuel Antonio. They don't speak any English but are friendly and willing to listen to us mangle Spanish!!! Highly recommended.

De la finca is characterized for having a cozy environment, one that makes you feel at home. We have fresh cuts of prime quality meat and use organic ingredients, that when combined with our style of cooking, turn into a delicacy.
While in Quepos, we tried to avoid the overpriced tourist trap restaurants recommended by our hotel. This place was terrific! A very casual, relaxed vibe and super friendly. Our first visit, the burger and the ribs were both cooked perfectly and the accompaniments were tasty. On our second visit (yes, we returned), the tuna was probably the best fish we've had in years. Trust them to cook it the way they should! This is my first and only review - because I made a promise.

Open for several years. Very good food. Friendly staff. English spoken and on menu.
We stopped here after a day of horse back riding. I was so afraid since I was caked with mud that I would not be allowed in, come to find out...its open air and very accommodating.. The food was super good and the service was nice.

Went after a long day at the Park, had beef casado and fajita de pollo. The food was wonderful and very delicious, served fast and friendly. English menu available, serverâs Spanish was easily understandable. You must get a smoothie here, both con agua and con leche are among the best ones I ever head - and Iâm talking hipster places all over the world. Locally owned. Paid 10.5k - definitively a bang for your buck, even more for its location in a tourist area. Weâll be back.Offers takeaway (para llevar). As every soda no beers etc.

If you look for a special place which offers something more than the regular...Italian pizza, bavarian specials, barbecues, Mediterranean food, cool beer, cocktail bar, relaxed ambiance and good music!
One of the best if not THE best restaurant in Matapalo. The charming duo of Daniel and Darlenny are serving up some of the tastiest food in the area. You only have to hear Daniel recite the menu to get the mouth juices flowing. The salads are made with all fresh ingredients including crisp lettuces, and crunchy cucumbers. The Wienerschnitzel accompanied by either French fries, home fries or cold German potato salad is out of this world! My dinner companion feasted on a pork roast, simmered for hours in a broth made that day in heaven and sent directly to their kitchen. A Luigi Bosca Malbec was the perfect recommendation for our meal.Getting there: Driving south on Rt. 34 toward Dominical take the right at exit marked âRio Matapaloâ. Drive to the end of the short road, turn left. The restaurant will be ahead on the right side of the road. A yellow, red and black Imperial beer sign with the restaurant name, El Express del Pacifico.Coming from Dominical driving north on Rt. 34, at Hacienda Baru drive (approximately 11 km) 8-9 minutes. Look for a stop sign on left of the road and a sign with âsupermercadoâ. Turning left crossing the road go onto an unpaved dirt road. Pass a ball field on the right. Cross a short bridge ~ youâve arrived. The restaurant will be ahead on the right side of the road. A yellow, red and black Imperial beer sign with the restaurant name. Enjoy your dinner. Prepare to be amazed! Hello DavidThanks for the flowers.... we keep on doing the same, to get more of them.... and at the end... thatâs why we do it... to please hopefully the people who eat/enjoy out of our spoon....See u next visit in Matapalo D+D

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in Manuel Antonio and ended up at Cafe Agua Azul twice. There were so many different options on the menu that we wanted to try that we ended up going back. The food and service was excellent both times.
