Country restaurant with Creole food .
This restaurant is located about 30 minutes from town in a scenic area close to the mountains and surrounded by vineyards. The menu was fairly traditional and meat based. We were all happy with our dishes though the empanadas could have been warmer and the milanesa was a bit boring. The side dishes of potato wedges ( papas rusticas) and grilled vegetables were both very good. Something strange I realised in retrospect was that we were not given a written menu. The waiter just told us what dishes were available and did not mention the prices. I would rather have a written menu with prices to make an informed decision and to allow time to peruse and discuss with the rest of the party before ordering. It felt a bit rushed having to decide on the spot. I would recommend this place for a jaunt out of town especially for lunch when you can enjoy the scenery, perhaps combining with a winery visit or a walk at the Zonda dam.

My team came here on several occasions during a 6 week assignment in San Juan. We called it the "posh restaurant" as it had an upmarket feel compared to others in the vicinity. We liked it and the decor and service helped it stand out but the food was much the same as elsewhere. Let's face it - it's very difficult to get a bad steak in Argentina and most restaurants offer more or less the same menus. That said it is definitely a very good place to go and don't hesitate in recommending it.

If you want an informal setting for some lomitos with friends, this is the place to go. Mostly young people, great attitude from the service and owners, although given it gets crowded, can be a little slow. Place gets packed late (after 11pm) so arrive early if you want a spot.

Excellent lomo de bife, good wine selection, very friendly service. Huge portions at low prices. By far the best restaurant in sleepy little San Augustin

Entre Montañas nace de la inspiración que generó nuestra tierra, sus paisajes y cultivos, que hacen de la propia cultura un espacio fresco y lleno de aromas y sabores para explotar. El fin del Blend de té es enaltecer las propiedades en la combinación de
My partner and family have been here on numerous occasion but close to a year ago and they said it went downhill. For my first visit it was definitely not worthwhile. We ordered the high tea, and the sandwiches were dry and simple, better to just get take away at La Reine where it is of quality. All cakes were simple and a little stale, nothing was fresh. Ambiance wise is relaxing but none of us will visit again. Apparently they use to let you select the cakes or sandwiches but now is all set with no changes, I guess same price but decreased in quality.Good afternoon Sir/Madam,We are really sorry to read that you wouldn't come back to our Tea house and also to read this comment because it discourages other people from visiting us. I would like to describe our way of working: in almost 4 years we have never changed the raw material brands, our baker has been working with us since we opened and our way of doing things is exactly the same since the beginning. All of the raw product prices have indeed increased, however we haven't stopped working with them. Instead of changing them, we incorporated strategies to continue being profitable, such as selecting products and including the in promotion offer. If you would like to choose individual items, there is always the possibility of ordering from all the products that aren't included on that specific offer (more than 200). After your comment, we held a meeting to review the aspects of your visit from last Monday. Of course that our team can always improve, but let me tell you that we are entrepreneurs open to receive all kind of suggestions, not «downhill» ones. That day, one of the owners was here and she would have been glad to hear your comments in a way that would allow us to make your experience better. We hope that you and your family can give us the opportunity of serving you again. Please, let us know if that is the case at: [email protected]. Kind regards,Soledad Bastias

We came here both nights that we were in Valle Fertil, on the recommendation of our hotel. Food was pretty good - I had the locro (meat, bean and corn stew) both nights as it was one of the tastiest versions of this dish I've tried in Argentina. My boyfriend tried something called 'tire de asado' or something similar, which was a mistake! He was brought his own personal bbq with the meat still cooking. It looked like a huge amount of meat but turned out to be nearly all fat and bone. Service was good, especially on the first night when the owner (we presume) of the restaurant was there. We enjoyed half bottles of two different local wines too. Prices were fine - around 100-150 for most mains. San Agustin does not have many eating options and this is a decent one.

Antares combines a relaxed atmosphere, quality music and an original letter that accompanies the flavors of the craft beer. Thus, the taste, the aesthetics, the taste are united in the meetings with friends: a unique proposal when enjoying ANTARES.
This is a western-style beer pub with great food and drinks! I loved the calzone with pesto but the appetizers were all I could eat one night. The ''taco'' has egg and we ordered 2 as a meal the next night - it was a dinner amount of food. Prices are a bit high but the food, ambiance and english speaking wait staff were a great retreat from the more local-style establishments. Tourists will love it here.

In the basement of the del Bono Park Hotel, this place is in the ancient wine celars that used to be here. Service is good and food excelent. This place now opens for lunch and the de Mono Rojo restaurant in from for dinner. The menu is not very big and varies. I've been several times and there were always new options on the menue. The ice cream selection for desert is nice. Many thanks Jenny for commenting also La Cava Restaurant. We are glad your experience in San Juan was good and we hope to have you back in the restaurantRegards,

The quality of Palito Restaurant satisfies the most demanding tastes. It offers Lebanese Syrian food such as "Kebbe, Tabule, Children wrapped in grape leaves, Hummus, as well as San Juan dishes such as Punta de Espalda, and other options in pasta, pork, f
the restaurant is in the Club sÃrio Libanês and ther is no sign for the restaurant. Just walk in and ask the elderly gentleman at the reception for the way. The building is beautifull and worth seing. The restaurant opens for lunch (12:00) and dinner (21:00). I had one of the arab specialties on the menu a pot-pourri of diferente dishes. Is was delicious and far too much for me. The waiter and owner are very friendly and helpfull. The decoration of the restaurant itself is a bit outdated, the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars.
