Loved the concept of several street food venues in one service. Food and service was great. Some of the menues had english which was good for not spanish speakers like us :)

We wanted to eat grilled meats, and this place had them available. It was a nice restaurant, had live music on the day we went, and parking behind the restaurant was free (for the first 1.5 hours). The food was overly disappointing though, all of the meats were extremely dry, the sausage over cooked and dry and the meat plate (sausage, pork, beef and fried pig skin) had a lot of pig skin. About half the plate was french fries, but more than 2 people could eat between all the meats and fries (plus a sliced tomato). They did have high chairs (and boy do I mean high) for kids, so another reason we stayed. If it wasn't for the atmosphere, and only based on the food it would get 1 star only. Not a place I would return to again. Our other family members in the group (4 other adults) all agreed the meats were overcooked. Overall a lot of food for the price (American size portions), and nobody finished their plate though.thank you for your comment, We will consider it, you help us to be a better place.

I tried the Bandeja Paisa in the restuarant on the way back from the rock and must say the food was fairly average. Considering I was so hungry, yet the food didn't really leave me in awe. All the meat were a little overcooked. The service was fairly quick though.

Very close to the El Penon, between the rock and the parking lot. Reasonable prices, about $6-$7 for a meal with a large portion. Sat at window counter/bar overlooking the beautiful scenery of the surrounding water. See photos. All food is made fresh, no pre-made food, so took about 20-25 minutes for our order to arrive. Very tasty food. Free bathroom for patrons.

Es un muelle flotante sobre el embalse. Con buena música. Cervezas nacionales e importadas. Vinos. Café. Hamburguesas. Choripanes. Si quieres pasar una tarde muy agradable en un lugar diferente con la mejor vista y buena atención. Te lo recomiendo. Los precios son apenas justos.

There are several restaurants on this street all serving the same thing. This place is not worth the visit. We were sold on the view from one. The top floors. All the tables beside the window were dirty full of old food and empty bottles which were never cleaned up for the 2 hours we were there. It was dirty, food and drinks took over an hour. The whole place just had garbage and food everywhere. Yuck.

If you are looking for a cute lunch spot off the busy plaza, you should go to this place. The owner is amazingly friendly and cooks delicious food at low prices. We had a minestrone which was fabulous, arepas as tasty as ever and freshly made juices. We even could see the lake from our table. Totally recommend this lovely place.

My stay in Guatape wouldenât be so good if not Cafe Martine. Food here is simply amazing! Every day was something different. I had meat option that was melting in my mouth every time. Super easy to find as itâs next to a wee square with coloured stairs. Very friendly family is running the place :) 1000% recommended to eat here !!!Buen suerte !m

I was surprised to find this place so budget friendly with quality that cannot go unnoticed. Sitting on top of the hotel, this is a penthouse-like environment with great decor, ample seating, ambiance, and a fantastic view over the lake. Clean, beautifully accented, it made me sweat, thinking I'd stumbled into some 5 Star restaurant with that kind of pricing. Wow, the menu had great selections with pasta, seafood, soups, salads, and more! At super economical prices! The wait staff was friendly, seating perfect, and an overall great feeling sitting by the gas torches/heaters overlooking parts of Guatape and the surroundings. We ordered cordon bleu, and I am here to tell you, it was fantastic! The sauce had an excellent flavor and consistency, the ceasar salad was delicious, the rustic potato slices were crisp on the outside and flavorful inside. De li cious! Besides that, the presentation of the meal was indeed 5 Star at 3 Star pricing! Great value. Cordon Blue (their menu spelling) and drinks, about $20 USD. My friends and I went to this restaurant on recommendation by one of the vendors nearby. It did not disappoint. The service was attentive, the food was delicious, and everything was reasonably priced. We had the skirt steak and the chicken and both were perfectly cooked. The restaurant is also conveniently located near the bus stop to return to Medellin. A must visit when in Guatape.
