this is a local tipico restaurant with great access to the Interamericana in David. Located on the way to Price Smart, it is right on the highway.They have a good variety of Panamanian dishes but cooked with great flavor. Nothing is dry or overcooked ever and the prices are fair if not just a touch high. There are plenty of tables to sit at comfortably and a mix of folks are there at all times for a meal, be it breakfast of lunch.

This simple restaurant is just across the street from the backpacker's hostel Bambú. It serves really good food (mainly fish and seafood with fried plantains and cabbage salad and sauce) for a favorable price.I was there already three times, thus can really recommend it :)

Everytime I'm on vacation is gotta stop and eat at this place, they have delicious food and it's a nice comfortable cozy restaurant, the owners are very friendly and care to make you feel at home, great costumer service and amazing food, I highly recomend this place, if you like good cuisine you gotta try it... We ate several meals at La Abigail during our visit to La Barquetta. For lunch or breakfast, you can dine with a cool sea breeze and the sounds of the surf while you dine outside in the shade - talk about a cheeseburger in paradise... The menu had a good lineup of lunch options. You HAVE to try the fried ceviche! Inside, they dress it up a bit for the evening meal. The food was fantastic but a little slow by American standards, but dinner isn't a rush at any restaurant in Panama so just relax and enjoy.

This restaurant is located in Pedregal near the port of David. It was recommended by people working for the Maritime Authority as a good lunch spot. They were right, the seafood is fresh, preparations very typical of this part of Panama and costs are reasonable.I would recommend giving it a try

We don't know what the names are but both of our meals were wonderful. My wife had steak (cooked perfectly) topped with shellfish with a marinade. I had a steak (also perfectly cooked) with shrimp and longostinas in a delicious gravy sauce. We topped this off with pisco sours. Perfect dinner for my wife's birthday.
