Finding good fish around Ferragosto is a bit of a challenge. We solved it with an amazing dinner at this place. Vasto is famous for its soup (Brodetto alla Vastese), with only locally sourced fish, and this place served us a breathtaking one. Not just that, the starters (about 15 different types including hot, raw and marinated) also were so fresh you could actually taste the sea.Local wine, rigorously white and bubbly, was also very appropriate for the dishes. All in all a great experience, I'd go back there other hundred times if I could. Don't miss it if you find yourselves in Vasto!Beware, though, that they don't seem to accept card payments -- cash only.

Beautiful house hidden in a quiet and green environment, with a restaurant offering an awesome seaview. We stopped there almost randomly, on a road trip from Puglia to Bologna. The beginning was quiet formal, because as one enters the restaurant, he faces a wall full of portraits of celebrities who have been there. Then the owner, a former football player, welcomes you aboard and everything becomes easy going! We were more than satisfied with the excellent quality of seafood. Great experience. We decided to stay for one night in the hotel.

In one of the most charming views of the Adriatic coast , in Vasto , it is the Trabocco Cungarelle , where you can taste specialties of Vasto and a local fresh fish in a unique atmosphere , surrounded by the sea . Completely renovated in art, keeping the
A wonderful rustic setting with fantastic views. The food is incredible with numerous varieties of fish and seafood beautifully prepared and presented. We opted for the 35⬠lunch option and can not imagine eating anymore food. A cold appetizer course of 6 plates, a hot appetizer course of 5 plates, a pasta course with scampi, and finally fruit and sorbet. Wine included in the price and liqueur offered at the end but we had to surrender. Staff were kind and efficient. Lunchtime was advertised as 1-2 pm but we arrived just after 12 and able to be served. We agreed this was the best meal of our trip. Make sure to arrive hungry!!!

Historical restaurant with fish speciality. We would be very happy to explain the courses to our customers ! BIG CAR PARKING (not free) BEHIND THE RESTAURANT
The speciality of Vasto, a vast dish full of different fish, clams, prawns, squid, etc. in a pot was excellent. It was Monday, the owner was there himself, the restaurant was half empty but the service was excellent, the fish was fresh. The venue is worth visiting, it can also hold large groups, upstairs is full of interesting paintings and deco.

Are you in Vasto for holidays ? Well ... you cannot miss this experience. You walk just a little bit outside the historical centre and you'll find that "unusual" place. Why "unusual" ? Because it is strange ( in Italy ) to find a takeaway of fish only ... and we are not talking about a "Fish and Chips Takeaway" ! The place is small enough to have 3-4 tables if you wish to eat on the spot, otherwise you can take your choice home. The selection of dishes is impressive and fresh fish only. On one side you may choose among cooked dishes on display in a counter; on the right hand side instead there is another counter full of ice where is taken continuously fresh fish. In fact at our arrival ( 1.45 p.m. ) we were lucky enough to sit on a table just vacated by customers and we had to wait quite a while beause a lot of people queuing for their orders. Our selection was tasty and prices very reasonable. I dare suggest La Paranza to add a few more bottles of wine to choose from ... considering the area is full of wonderful wines ( such as Cococciola, Passerina, Pecorino, Trebbiano ).grazie per la sua bella recensione..staff La Paranza

Small local, maximum 35/40 people, located in Vasto's old town just a few meters from the main square. The kitchen, exposed, mostly serving fish dishes, classic but casual setting.
Located just off the main square in Vasto is this lovely little restaurant. It is an absolute must!! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is extremely helpful. Average price in 2 about 40 euros (2 starters, 2 pasta, 1 dessert, 2 coffee and water).thank you for your amazing review. hope to see you soon. Yours faithfully Paolo and Nadia

E' un ristorante di pesce sul "trabocco" aperto tutto l'anno. E' OBBLIGATORIA la prenotazione. It's a restaurant of fish on the "trabocco" opened the whole year. Riservation is REQUIRED.
A wonderfull candelight dinner in an original trabocchi. Its really worth while visiting the very friendly owner and his wife. They serve a nice 7 course seafood festival. It is not easy to find the trabocchi in the harbour, but finally being there you experience an incredible evening!! An evening you never forget!! Please make a reservation because there are only 3 tables im the small restaurant!
