Find out what Soups restaurants to try in Sanibel Island. Most vacation spots are either relaxing (Tahiti) or family-friendly (Orlando). Sanibel Island, however, is that rare place which is both. Spend a quiet afternoon shell-collecting, or find a hotel with a kids' program so you can enjoy a trip to the spa or a round of golf.

My wife LOVES seafood. Therefore, when visiting Sanibel, we eat seafood at least one and often two meals a day. I like it, but like other types of food, also. The Lazy Flamingo can satisfy both needs. They have a good selection of dishes (seafood and otherwise) at decent prices for Sanibel. The wait staff was nice and the atmosphere is really cool. Lots of nautical stuff and the windows are made to kind of look like large portals. The drinks (adult libations) are very well made! What made this even better is we were staying at Periwinkle Campground and this is within walking distance.

The Fish House Restaurants are known for their amazing seafood and 2-4-1 frozen Rumrunners. ALWAYS, a wonderful relaxing environment, great customer service, and the freshest seafood! Now what more could you ask for? Our menu offers the best in seafood, a
We went on a Thursday evening in the off season (September) and were promptly seated. The restaurant was half empty, and not very busy at all. The wait staff passed us by for 20 minutes without acknowledging we were even there, or taking our drink order. We did something we have never done before - walked out of a restaurant. We left and went down to Doc Ford's and spent our hundred bucks there instead. It's sad, because I heard the Fish House used to be a good place to eat.

We were there with the whole family to celebrate Christmas' Eve. The location is perfect, almost on the beach, as the name says. The staff was friendly and efficient, the location festive for the occasion, the food excellent (I especially recommend the hazelnut crusted tuna) and there was even music and room for dancing! We had a very good time for our first Christmas abroad!Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad you and your family had a great evening at Traditions on the Beach to celebrate Christmas Eve. We appreciate your review and hope you had a great time on Sanibel during your stay!

Having never been here before, we were very grateful for the friendly helpful staff that explained the menu options. We aren't vegans or gluten free but enjoy good food and were especially pleased with the Nacho Nirvana choice. The menu has plenty of things to choose from so there is something healthy and full of vegetables for everyone. We enjoyed sitting at the little table outside where we could have a quiet lunch in the sweet breezes. We chose this "oasis" because they were giving back to one of the Island's charities on the day we were there.

My wife and I reprised oyster bar experiences from many East American Coastal places and couldn't recall anyone better. We've been lucky enough to slip the seasonal crowds at both the restaurant and oyster bar more than I will reveal, but you can make the scene, too.The hours seem quirky, but I think that's usually a good thing. Good oysters, served by hand, are worth any wait time.

The Sanibel Deli was a disappointment this year. Previous years it had been a delight, so maybe it was an off day. The gentleman at the counter wasnât very welcoming, the egg and cheese on bagels were lacking seasoning and the bagels seemed stale, and the coffee just ok. I hope they get back on their game but we will have to wait till next year to find out as we donât want to waste another breakfast being underwhelmed.

This is one of our favorite places on Sanibel. The decor gives it an island feel. The food is delicious. We had mahi, shrimp, and chicken, and everyone was pleased. Their homemade potato chips and fruit complete the meal. The flower is a nice touch. The service is exceptional for as busy as they are.

Three of us visited for the first time and despite the very friendly staff the food was just ok. Beware they serve beer and wine so anything like a margarita is made with âwine-based liquor â; whatever that is. Clam bisque was good as was the peel âm and eatâm shrimp. Clam âcakesâ are like hush puppies but ours were not done inside. Great onion rings.
