Reviews on Soups food in Ballyferriter, Province of Munster, Ireland. Ballyferriter (Irish: Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, meaning "Ferriter's townland", Irish pronunciation: [ˈbˠalʲənʲ ɛɾˠˈtʲeːɾˠiɡʲ] or An B[h]uailtín),), is a Gaeltacht village in County Kerry, Ireland. It is in the west of the Corca Dhuibhne (Dingle) peninsula and according to the 2002 census, about 75% of the town's population speak the Irish language on a daily basis. The village is named after the Norman-Irish Feiritéar family who settled in Ard na Caithne in the late medieval period and of whom the seventeenth-century poet and executed leader, Piaras Feiritéar, was a member. The older Irish name for the village An B[h]uailtín ("the little dairy place") is still used locally.

Serving the very best of fresh Dingle and Kerry produce, our fish comes straight to us from the local fishing boats and our meats and vegetables come from local farmers in the area. Lobster, Crab Claws, Clams, Prawns, Monkfish, Calamari........ Succulent
Had a great lunch with great service and a view of the Dingle harbor. My daughter left her purse and they were incredibly helpful in finding and keeping it safe, even offering to drive it to us in Killarney, an hourâs drive away. Special thanks to Gavin OâGrady and the âteamâ,

We went here for dinner one night. The service was good and the food delicious. I got the stir-fry which was yum. My little girl got the fish goujans which she loved. Lovely spot for food.

Whilst staying in Dingle we stumbled across this restaurant and we are so glad we did.The welcome was warm and the food amazing The host John recommended the menu of the day and I'm glad we took his advice. My husband had fish chowder to start with and I had the most delicious bowl of vegetable soup I have ever ever eaten I can still taste it now and wish they could market it and send it to London. Our main courses were Turbot for my husband which he said was perfection on a plate and I had fillet steak which just melted like butter in your mouth We would loved to have had a pudding but unfortunately I had a dreadful cold and just need to get back to bed. we asked our waitress if she could order a cab for us and she said just let me know when you want to leave and I will take you which was so lovely of her We hadn't realised that this was a family business and our waitress was his daughter and his son the barman. All we can say is what a superb team they all make They were fantastic and the food was the icing on the cake.I just wish we lived nearer.Thank you all for your hospitality and a wonderful evening Madeline & Eddiex

Fabulous food served here by friendly and very helpful staff. Allergies understood here. Only went in here for a drink but decided to have dinner, so pleased that we did. While I do personally prefer the white wine sauce a little more creamy and thicker, this was very tasty. We will get back here.

Welcome to Doyleâs Seafood Restaurant. This multi award-winning restaurant is located on John Street in Dingle town, a small picturesque fishing town on the west coast of Ireland. This elegant restaurant is now being run by chef and proprietors Sean Roche
We stopped here based on the recommendation of Maurice at the Quayside B&B. Best advice we have received.Starting off with a Dingle whiskey and a Dick Mack's Amber Ale (both locally sourced) started this wonderful experience. Apps and local chowder elevated the results even more. Our local seafood dinners were so fresh and amazing. This is a first class restaurant that we strongly recommend.

This is a popular stop on the Sea Head Drive so don't be surprised if its really busy and there's a bit of a wait. Its worth it for the freshly prepared food. The open crab sandwich and the open smoked salmon sandwich are both superb and large enough to get you through the rest of the day even if you are exercising and building up an appetite.

We stopped here to dodge a rain shower before our walk on Trá Bhán near Ballyferriter. What a lovely escape that proved to be! Home made soup with brown bread baked on the premises - followed by excellent scones and desserts. Not to mention the wonderful pottery used in the cafe. A great experience.
