Welcome to Hafjell Alpine CenterAt the Hafjell Alpine Centre, skiers can have a blast skiing down more than 40 kilometers of slopes at varying levels of difficulty. There are 31 different slopes ranging from green slopes (beginner), nine blue slopes (easy) and seven red slopes (intermediate) to four black slopes (advanced). The overall drop on the mountain is 835 metres. So whether you are a beginner or an expert, a great skiing experience awaits you here in Hafjell.
The area is very beautiful. I would suggest this area for the beginners as experienced ski runners might find it boring quite fastly as my friend did. There is a great variety of green and blue slopes for beginners and medium trained ski runners. We stayed at a nice house for 5 days. It is a great vacation spot where you can have your privacy. As any spot in Norway this one is quite pricy though.

A number of excellent roundtrips enable skiers to enjoy the mountains (above the tree-line) as well as a varied forest terrain. The network of cross-country ski trails covers both the eastern and the western side of Kvitfjell. As part of the World of Peer Gynt, Kvitfjell can offer over 1,000 km of machine-groomed ski trails, and the area borders Skeikampen to the south and Gala to the west.
A Perfect place for snowboarding and ski. A white weekend with good conditions and good friends. Very well organized, just come with your energy and have fun.

Skeikampen Alpine Centre offers 11 lifts (incl. 2 wonder carpets) and 17 slopes totalling 21 kilometres, with an altitude difference of 350 metres. There is a popular fun park, not to mention a large children’s area with lifts and slopes for the little ones. Ski in ski out. And if you can’t get enough skiing in the day, we offer evening skiing 2-3 times a week. For those who prefer cross-country skiing, we have 600 km of trails. The network of trails on Skeikampen runs along the treeline between the mountain and the forest, providing plenty of variety. You can start with a tranquil morning ski through pine forest, with just the sound of birdsong and the odd elk tracks, and then later in the day take in the views across to Jotunheimen and Rondane from the top of Slagsfjellet.

The network of trails connects to the Lillehammer, Hafjell and Sjusjoen networks, and over 2,500 km of trails are available in total. The mountain plateaus, offering cross-country ski trails through open and gentle terrain, are within easy reach. Gala is the perfect venue for families and groups who have different preferences when it comes to type of skiing activity as well as level of difficulty. Downhill and cross-country facilities are combined in a unique way, which ensures that every visitor will find a suitable activity. A broad range of additional activities as well as excellent children's clubs are available. The best way for children to learn, is when they are having fun. This is why we have decided to add permanent activities for the youngest children from this year on. Wider slope and better equipped slopes will allow children to play and ski all day long.
