DO NOT use this tour company if you are not from China. Our experience was nothing but a huge disaster. We ended up paying to literally experience the land on our own and get completely lost and we were not able to enjoy the beauty the rice terraces had to offer. The tour company only gave back half our money after all the struggles we went through and many many emails later.

We have been using Cuckoo Travel now for nearly 3 years to organise our holidays in Asia ( Myanmar,Borneo,Thailand to name a few. ) I have found them ( especially April) to be very knowledgeable and professional. What an amazing show. We watched it 21.50pm with our little 2years old son. We can't understand Chinese but the 360°stage and the light effects were very interesting. We bought the tickets in our hotel and picked them up 30 min before at the theatre. I would recommend it.

Very impressive, especially the building, designed by I M Pei. Also the palace adjacent to the museum with historical significance, all in all, enjoyable visit if you are interested in Chinese ancient art and history.
