It was a Great experience. Adriano was knowledgeable in the local customs and history which made the entire experience that much better! We had plenty of opportunities for photos in all the must see spots In Rio!!! I don't think there would be a better way to see all the things we were able to see! Adriano our guide was even kind enough to take photos of us along the way. I was surprised but my favorite part of the trip was sambódromo cathedral!!

Highly recommend Marco. We booked two full days of touring with him and his driver. Marco is extremely knowledgeable about Rio's sights, history, culture, architecture. He is an experienced guide, skilled at setting and adjusting an itinerary to meet the particular interests of his clients. I came home with notes on topics to research and read about: Brazilian authors, aviation pioneers, landscape architects, etc. I appreciated his good conversation and good humor. We had fun and we learned a lot....we loved our time in Rio and Marco gets a lot of the credit for that.

Why take a tour with Rodrigo? If you just want to go to well known tourist places like Corcovadao, Sugarloaf Mountain or Copacabana, then there are other less expensive tours that will do or you can just take a virtual touristic tour on the Internet. However, If you want to experience the real Rio, interpret and capture your own unique impressions of the city then Rodrigo is your ideal guide. Rodrigo is a photographer and understands that photographers do not want just record shots or narcsissistic selfie shots but rather images that reflect a place and the photographer and tell part of a story or journey For me, I wanted to capture some of the everyday lifestyles in Rio, Some parts of Rio are potentially dangerous and so it is essential to have a photographer/guide like Rodrigo that knows Rio and where to go for photography and to keep clients safe. We went to the Selaron steps, a local market selling all sorts of things from food to clothing, several places where unique groups of musicians where playing for they own enjoyment and for the locals, and a park where a group of dancers and drummers were practicing for the Carnival - all off the beaten tourist track. Rodrigo is a versatile photographer and does everything fro landscapes, architecture, people and impressionistic images - so you just need to advise him what your photographic style and interests. As far as I can tell, Rodrigo does not do set-ups for others to copy but takes you to laces that offer opportunity for self expression and interpretation I have been in photography for more that 40 years and highly recommend Rodrigo

The Private Helicopter Flight in Rio de Janeiro is one of the most spectacular and memorable experiences you will have from your visit to Rio and in your life. The opportunity to see the city from the sky is something unique and unforgettable. The helicopter rises and the symphony begins under your eyes. The incredible balance between nature and the city will take your breath away! The Tijuca Forest extends into the heart of the city, covering the mountains with a fresh and vivid green color. Beaches, islands, emblematic buildings, Guanabara Bay, Sugar Loaf Mountain, the legendary Maracanã Stadium, all of that and much more can be seen from the helicopter. The social contrast is also really interesting to see from the sky. The favorite moment for most of our guests is when you can look into the eyes of the statue, Christ the Redeemer! We have no words to explain this experience. Undoubtedly, a private helicopter flight is the best way to see and understand the city of Rio de Janeiro!
Inclusions: Helicopter Panoramic Flight

I've had the great fortune to visit the sights of Rio de Janeiro with Rio Alternative Tours in the past many times, on my trip to Rio this time I wanted to venture further afield and Vicente & Lully both agreed Petropolis would be a good place for me to go. This is where the famous Bohemia lager is produced so the day was based around my wanting to visit this brewery. As always, Vicente arrived on-time and his car was immaculate, we left in air-conditioned tranquility on the 2.5 hour journey to Petropolis which is through some wonderful scenic roads. One of the great things about the tour is that they have thought of everything, even the place we stopped on the way for some food was fantastic. We stopped a few times on the way for some photos too, will add them to the review. Upon arriving into Petropolis we stopped at the very impressive Quitandinha Palace and admired the grounds, lake and architecture. From there we went for lunch and a few beers by a wonderful mansion house, Vicente pointed out the many errors in the design. Because of COVID the museums were closed but thankfully Bohemia was open. GREAT facility with an interesting walking tour of both the history of beer in South America as well as the more recent brewing techniques. You are given a small glass on arrival and you are permitted to have many samples....I had many samples! At the end there is an inevitable gift shop but the merchandise is very good, so bought a few souvenirs then had dinner at the brewery restaurant, it was very tasty. Back to Rio de Janeiro the same day and I have to say whilst it was quite a long day, it went by really quickly with lots of interesting facts from Vicente as well as some beautiful sights along the drive. I *could* easily have hired a car and driven there myself, but the insight and ability to drink copious amounts of beer made the tour fantastic value for money. I would definitely recommend visiting Petropolis for the scenery and fascinating history of the town.

I visited Brazil for 2 weeks and booked a bunch of stuff for my time there. This tour was incredible! We learned so much about the Christ Statue and the plants in the garden. I absolutely loved the stop at the market after the Christ Statue, the food tasted amazing. The waterfall shower was so refreshing and a great way to end such a great day. I highly recommend this tour

We were very fortunate to have Alan as our guide for the day in Rio, the weather was very cloudy and misty but Alan made the very most of our time taking us to Christ the Redeemer where we could just about see the statue throughout the gloom and then on to Sugar Loaf where we couldn't see a thing, but he showed us small peaceful squares the Selaron steps, the Catherdral and numerous other places he also took the trouble to take us to a restaurant to book a table for that evening. He is very knowledgeable about the city and made what could have been a wash out day into a very enjoyable one, I can highly recommend him he made our day.
