We chose Mr Linh's based on our friends' recommendation. The replies from the agent were prompt, and it was easy to make changes or ask questions. Our itinerary was fairly straight forward, and you can check all the accommodations as they provide an itinerary with links to hotels and homestays. Both our guide and driver were excellent. At all times we felt safe when Mr Long was behind the wheel. Mr Son was very knowledgeable about the area, and he also picked up quickly our favourite dishes and our average hiking/trekking speed. We did a 9D/8N trip, and had to do small changes along the way (like skipping motorbike riding as it was a rainy day going from Ha Giang to Dong Van, and then staying one extra night in Dong Van waiting for the rain to stop). The changes were not an issue to Mr Son. We had a small misunderstanding, but even that was duly noted and communicated to us. We went to places where there were no other tourists, and it was really wonderful to enjoy the fresh air, amazing sceneries, colourful tribes and see people at their daily chores. Our itinerary was Hanoi-Hoang Su Phi-Ban Phung-Ha Giang-Dong Van-Cao Bang/Quang Uyen-Ban Gioc Falls-Quang Uyen-Hanoi. To see the rice fields in full colour, I would suggest going latest early October. Around mid-October a lot of the rice had already been harvested, but still plenty being harvested by the locals, mostly women. I would strongly recommend Mr Linh's for travels to Northern Vietnam.

I had a really great & fun time on this tour. I went on my own and while waiting for the bus to arrive to start our journey a couple of young Vietnamese girls took me under their wing by talking to me and kept it up all the way thru the tour. They were very friendly and delightful. Also Luong (Louis) was a lot of fun too. He was very friendly, professional. ejoyed a good joke or two and always made sure that I was fine and enjoying myself and all the activities that I did with the other tour members.

We visited Cambodia & vietnam for 14 days.. It was really well organised.. From the start till end everything was very well organised. Since it was a budget trip the hotels which were booked was way better than we expected. Any queries jasmine always was there to solve it within few minutes. I would definitely recommend people to go with this agency. They are really good. Due to some mis communication there was some confusion in ho Chi Minh City and within no time we got back our refund.

We had great trip to Vietnam thanks to the great customer service provided by Custom Vietnam Travel and all of their staff, especially Liliana Pham. We were two couples who decided to make the trip after many months of planning with the help of Liliana. The first stop in Hanoi was excellent with good accommodations and everything was open. One highlight was the cooking class we took that introduced us to fresh Vietnamese cooking and shopping at the markets. We also took a day trip to Tam coc which was great. We then went to Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Danang and Saigon. On each step of the way we dealt with Liliana who made sure our trip went smoothly, despite the difficulty of travel during the threat of the Covid-19 virus. She helped us re-arrange our itinerary and had incredible patience as we substituted a few new activities. We particularly loved Hoi An with its colourful atmosphere and fantastic restaurants and scenery. Our drivers and tour guides were all very helpful and courteous and definitely helped us get the most our of our trip. Liliana even managed to get us on a different boat for the trip up the Mekong Delta and we ended up with the boat to ourselves! Since our trip was cut short (we did not make to Cambodia), Liliana arranged for the company to reimburse us for the lost portion of the trip. Overall, I would highly recommend Custom Vietnam Travel and their representatives like Lilana who clearly go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude and also pride in the rich culture of their country.

We were collected from our hotel in the Old Quarter on time and met our guide Duong (aka Sugar) He spoke very good English and was very friendly. Once at Halong Bay, it was quite chilly and misty at times but we knew it could be in March. All the meals were very nice but a lot of the dishes were deep fried. All the activities were very interesting but I think could have been quite overcrowded if it was busier. The photo of the room gives the impression it's large, spacious and gleaming, they were actually small, cramped and slightly dowdy. But we didn't spend much time in the room anyway so not really a problem. The downstairs rooms are larger but are noisier as they are closer to the engine. Waited a long time for the coach when we got off. All in all a very good trip.

Tourguide pick you up at your hotel 7:30AM, you will depart by bus to Bac Ha Market and you will arrive in Bac Ha by approximately 10:45AM. This is an opportunity to discover the diverse highland market, with many varying ethnic groups coming down to the market to exchange commodities such as vegetables, sugarcane, clothes, buffalo, cows and pigs. It is also quite common for young people to come here to find the lover, with these Sunday markets available as a forum to meet and chat together. This is the largest and most famous upland market in Vietnam. It is only held on Sunday from 6:00AM to 3:00PM with a variety of wares on display. The clothing, language and people all differ, with Mong flower,Tay,Nung and Dao all in attendance. You will focus on returning to the bus to visit the Pho Village after the market, a small village of the Mong flower people 2 kilometers from Bac Ha town. You will be able to walk around the village for about 20 minutes, before returning back to the bus.

We booked a 4 days treking tour from Sapa with this agency (4 adults and 6 children). Unfortunately, we can not make a good review because the price- performance ratio was very bad. We have been living in Vietnam for 2 years now and travelled a lot inside Vietnam so we can evaluate a good/bad service. We accepted to pay an important amount of money for this trip hoping that we could have a better service but things didn t go that way... We also had, before the trip, a very clear vision regarding the living conditions in different villages. So we didn t expect to have luxury or modern facilities. Our disapointment is not caused by a lack of information or realism previous to the trip. It is caused by the lack of responsiveness and organization of this agency. They didn t do their job to check the places we slept over and prepare them before our arrival. In one homestay, we had worms falling on us from the mosquito screen, the bed smelled very bad ( urine)... this could have been avoided if they have done their job by asking the owners of the place to clean before our arrival. The places we ate during the day were very commun, no view, no charm and especially very bad quality. In one of the restaurants, we put our bag in a dog or cat pooh... in another restaurant we didn even eat one of the dishes, because it looked very unhealthy. We payed a lot of money, so they had, in theory, the budget to pay a bit more for a more decent place but they prefered to keep that money for themselves. Or, if there are not such places, then they should ask less money for their treking. We find them very unprofessional. They got us once, it won t happen a second time...
